Welcome again to my little corner of the world. I enjoy hiking and camping and try to get to the mountains at least oonce a year. I've hiked some of the AT and most of the trails in the Smokey Mountain National Park. These are some of the pictures from my trips. More will be posted later. Enjoy!

Me and a Friend

This picture was taken in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park near Rainbow Falls. The Falls are located about halfway up Mt. LeConte. My friend is a red squirrel. It was one of the first times I coaxed a wild animal up that far.

This picture was taken in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park on the Appalachian Trail. This was only a day hike. The overnighters are best. Just you, the sky, the woods, a fire, and an occasional friend. ;o)
