VASTIS
Fuzzem Villiage-
The Fuzzem Villiage is a place of mirth and merriment. An ideal place for all those Dillfrog lovers out there, the little, multicolored Fuzzems would much rather be your friend than fight you. Don't be astonished if you enter a room with a Fuzzem in it and recieve a warm hug from it. The Fuzzems are very easy to destroy, and will absolutely not attack unless you attack first, and you'd have to be pretty weak to not be able to kill a Fuzzem in your first attack. My verdict? Make love, not diced Fuzzem.
Silver River-
Self explanatory, no tricks here.
Verdant Woodlands-
The Verdant Woodlands is a very dangerous place for those
who are not prepared for it. The northern part of the Woodlands are inhabitted by the
pixies and sprites almost exclusively.
They are tough little buggers, and have a tendency to pop up in the most inconvient places
at the most inconvenient times. There are also very vicious vegetation. The Flowering
Vi-Plants
and the Shambling Bushes are very good fighters. I woul not suggest trying to raid the
northern Woodlands until at least a strong level 45.
The southern part of the woodlands is inhabited by the pixies, sprites,
and vegetation as well as the Dryads, the Brown Hermit, the Winged Imp, the treants,
unicorns, and Westlandish
Rangers. This is a very tough section of the woodlands to fight in. One has to be very
carefull what one attacks here. I would not suggest entering the southern woodlands until
at least level
50 or 55. And then only attack the weaker race, the Dryads. They are the weakest race in
southern woodlands. With the exception of the Dryad Queen, which I will get to in a
minute.
After mastering the Dryads, add the Ranger and Hermit to the menu. After about level 60 or
65, start taking on the Birch Treant very carefully. But DO NOT attack the Ironoak Treant,
the or ANY unicorn before level 100 or 110, and no, I did not mistype those numbers. The
Lady of the Wood and the Winged Imp are very nasty competition too. Do not attack them
below
level 125 at the MINIMUM! They will kill you, guaranteed. There are two NPCs which can be
found almost anywhere in the woodlands, Nin the Nymph (my favorite NPC), and the Dryad
Queen. Treat both of them as armed and dangerous. Consider them as powerful as a Birch
Treant. And also, if for some reason you come across a Westlandish Guard in the woodlands,
don't attack it. I don't care if you look at it and it says your stronger than it in most
catagories. Unless you kill it in your first attack, it will call for back up, and you'll
find yourself facing 4 or 5 very mad, very nasty Guards. And you thought the Pixies were
bad at quickly massing. My verdict? A great place for a person to gain levels fast between
levels 45 and 125. (Oh, and a little secret. If something drops a treasure chest, type
open chest. They call them treasure chests
for a reason.)
Mileen Badlands-
Sorry, I have nothing for this one, because I have never been big enough to get there, so don't got there is you are small.
Westlandish City-
Westlandish City. The most hostile sanctuary in the whole
of Rock. Has 2001 lost his mind, you ask? Most certainly not! Just try attacking someone
or something inside the walls of
the city! I will bet you apples to oranges that you don't survive to tell about it! Any
citizen of the city will immediately start screaming its head of for the guards, and then
you find yourself facing the equivalent of about 4 or 5 very mad Birch Treants that don't
care if you say you're sorry,
you still gonna die! Westlandish City is also home to the Oracle, a mini version of the
Academy, the Armory, and the Weaponshop. You like all armor steel? The Westlandish Armory
is
the place for you. They specialize in steel armor and westlandish chainmail, the next best
armor after blackened platemail, and all reasonably priced. The weapon shop also usually
has a good selection of weapons from the steel longsword to the heavy-headed mace, an
ideal weapon for powerful Drynes, just ask Ivanova. My verdict? Overkilling vengance makes
for a great protection as you buy up on things to make yourself stronger.
Southern Seaport-
I love the Southern Seaport. Maybe it's the smell of the Sea of Trall. Maybe it's the
variety of things for sale in Arks Pawn Shop. Maybe it's the rough and tumble nature of
the people that call the seaport home. The seaport is home to the Pirates, mostly. There
are also Southern Merchants and Southern Guards. The guards are the most pesky of the NPCs
in the Seaport. They are very tough and put up one great fight. Everything is pretty much
on even footing, toughness wise, in the seaport. It is highly reccomended that you don't
take on the King, or the Vile Captain. One should not travel to the Seaport if below level
60. It be not the place for the weak of heart and stomach! My verdict? 13 men on a dead
man's chest,and I the one alive. . .
Grasslands-
The Grasslands are for the elite. Located down the hill
from the woodlands, the grasslands contain some of the fiercer NPCs in the game. There
weakest is the Sungold Falcon, which is about as bad as a pixie in a bad mood. There are
also the Herd Beasts, which are stronger than the birch treants. But you have the
advantage ove the herd beast. The herb beast will not attack when you rest to heal your
damage. So you can attack, rest up from the incredible damage that the herd beast caused,
and attack again. The rest of the grasslands are not as fun. You see, there are these
really bad NPCs called Vexians. They are strong. They are agile. They kick your butt if
you're not paying attention. Never EVER attack a vexian if you are below level 90 or 95
and don't have a good escape route. They are crafty creatures. They make you think that
you have them almost beat, and then they really knock you for a loop. I've seen level 100
players knocked all the way down to 1 HP from a vexian attack. There are also really nasty
things called Giant Grasscrabs and Dancers. They are bad, really bad! Think two Herb
Beasts wrapped up into one NPC and given the bad attitude of a vexian. I have a personal
vandetta against them. They have made me lose all my equipment more than once. My verdict?
Caution has never killed anybody, except in the grasslands.
