I am not a writer or journalist or professional critic. I am a fan. We are all fans. That is why we are starting this zine. This is just for what is good in music, and sometimes movies and books, but mainly music. Music zines have been polluted with political bullshit lately and we want to get rid of that. We feel if you want to read bullshit, then go to Rolling Stone magazine and buy everything they put into lists. So, if they can print their polluted horrible tastes, then so can we. Thats what were about. With that having been said, enjoy.

These lists are just a taste of what I listen to. It is hard, so there is no order, but these are bands and albums that I just never get tired of.

10 of my fav bands in no particular order (once again, if you want order, go read Rolling Stone)

Alice Cooper
My first concert. I was 6 . Never forget it. In any case, one of the greatest rock and roll bands ever. Extremely original and straight forward. All works by A.C. are great in my opinion; however, the original A.C. band is what Im shooting for here.

Black Sabbath
Ozzy at his peak before the infestation of Sharon. The skull crushing riffs of Tony Iommi and the greatest, tightest backbones with Bill Ward and Geezer Butler.

Clutch
I cant limit these guys with a label, but hard rock, jam band fit pretty well. They never disappoint and obtain the freedom to expand with every album from their fans. Story-telling lyrics and a musical roller coaster complete the excellence.

Johnny Cash
The original badass. Some things just shouldnt be described.

The Supersuckers
The Greatest Rock n Roll Band in the World!!! Following the footsteps of AC/DC, Motorhead and the Ramones of staying true and rocking with every album.

Reverend Horton Heat
Texas Rockabilly Rebel who gets better with age. Every show, every album is just guitar-a-billy explosion.
Rollins Band
Intense. To metal for alternative, to alternative for metal. I cannot describe what makes this band great, but all the musicians that have been through the band just fit perfectly. From the original line-up to the backing of Mother Superior, this band just rocks in every form. And the throat powerful and intense.

Danzig (includes Misfits and Samhain how can it not, really.)
Evil Elvis. I dig that term, from both the Danzig fan and an Elvis fan. He is the blues metal rock master devil.

Nine Inch Nails
Ive been a fan since I was 12. Every album is better than the previous. The Fragile is one of the greatest albums ever. It is a musical trip for the mind that takes you through the highs and lows of Reznors vision and life. Amazing.

Iron Maiden
Some of my earliest memories are of watching old, old, old Maiden videos pre-Dickinson live DiAnno. Steve Harris is a great and talented songwriter with amazing guitarists bringing his writing to life.

10 of my fav albums (no order too tough)

The Fragile Nine Inch Nails
Just read #9 in the fav bands section.

Motherfuckers Be Trippin The Supersuckers
Solid rock album. Their best to date. From beginning to end, its the catchiest rockiness album! Go buy it!

Number of the Beast Iron Maiden
The quintessential classic metal album dealing with the devil (in a PMRC-know-nothing-kinda-way) and hard rock.

Funhouse The Stooges
Great rock n roll from the godfathers of the scene, and many others. Grooves and solos and a saxophone perfect for Iggy to slither around to.

Vol. 4 Black Sabbath
The most under-rated Sabbath album ever. Probably one of the heaviest albums ever released.

Ted Nugent Ted Nugent
The self-titled solo debut by one of the greasiest, bluesiest, fastest guitar players ever. The album boasts such classics as Stranglehold, Motorcity Madhouse, Stormtroopin, Hey Baby and countless others.

The Ramones The Ramones
Another self-titled debut album that is a solid rocker all the way through. I would ruin the listening experience if I said more.

Static Age - The Misfits
The debut album that didnt come out until almost 20 years after the band intended. Only 1 unreleased song, but the classic Fits tunes are all their. Not to mention the metal crooner Glenn Danzig at his rawest.

Machine Gun Etiquette The Damned
Yet another classic punk album. Probably the longest non-compilation punk album ever clocking in at just under an hour. The album showed the continually expanding music of the Damned with longer songs and jams.

Kiss Kiss
Another debut album. Kisss best album ever (next to Alive I and II)!!! Every song is a fan favorite, and the 2 lesser-known songs are just as great. Its another album I hate turning off in the middle.

Movies are just as hard to pick for favorites, but Ill try. Well probably include movie reviews and whatnot, and itll mostly be horror. We are geeks, no way around it.

House of 1000 Corpses
Rob Zombie has created our generations Evil Dead or Night of the Living Dead. Its a great horror / slasher flick.

Johnny Dangerously -
A great comedy with a great cast and hilarious results.

Donnie Darko A suspenseful movie about time-travel that leaves you questioning and scratching your head. It is well written and acted with a dark overtone.

Psycho Beach Party
A campy throwback mocking the 50s suspense movies, 60s beach movies, and the 70s slasher flicks all mixed with goofball comedy and one-liners.

Dawn of the Dead (remake)
The classic is good, but my problem is the zombies are slow. The remake is scarier as in the zombies are more terrifying and bloodthirsty. It was a fun and exciting movie and should be well liked by any horror fan.

The Godfather
I am Italian, and following the stereotype of our world, Im a big fan of this movie. It is a classic family story. Nothing more.

The Shawshank Redemption
The feel good movie of that year (which escapes me). Great storyline and acting. A movie I can watch back to back when shown on T.V. as such.

Jaws
One of the only movies that has ever scared me in my life.

The Ghost and Mr. Chicken
Don Knotts in a haunted houseGreat fun Atta Boy, Luther!

Sleepy Hollow
Yet another dark masterpiece from Tim Burton. Visually stunning and appealing to me. Johnny Depp in one of his greatest performances as the bumbling, constantly-frightened Ichibod Crane. Excellent creepy story for the Halloween season.
