Niagara Falls Continue
Over the years, the Niagara Falls had been eroding at several feet per year. Now they erode at a great decrease because of human factors.
The Niagara Reservation State Park has instituted means of curtailing human activity near the water and land close to the water area.  There are boardwalks, visitor centers, view mobiles, small trolleys, tour boats, and geological museums.  Humans have pushed back the rate of erosion by lessening the amount of water flowing over the falls.  They use this water for power plants to make energy.  The energy is made from the pressure of the water, turning turbine blades, producing electricity.  They do this at nighttime, when tourists aren't present.
