THE ORBIT ROOM, 10/08/00
19Wheels and Vibrolush opened for Eve 6.  Being my favorite band, 19Wheels were naturally my favorite of the three.  Their set was way too short, but very good nonetheless.  During "Colorado," I made eye contact with Chris and waved.  He waved back and mouthed "Hi Katie."  I could have died with excitement.  Vibrolush was impressive as well.  While talking to them after their set, I realized that they were very friendly and humble.  Tobias was sweet and he looks like Perry Farrell.  Eve 6 put on a good show, but came across as cocky.  We got lost of autographs and met every member of every band there.  I talked the most with 19Wheels, including their new drummer, Rob Dickey.  I bought a shirt from Rob and Tim Marzorati and they were incredibly friendly.  A very good concert and it was under $20 I think.
As an aside:  OK, I say this all the time...But, I'M A DORK!!  I can't help it that I was once a smitten fan who got excited every time the band acknowledged that I was alive.  Hehe.  But, even though I was such a nerd, I'm not going to alter what I wrote because I think that would sacrifice something.
