The Intersection, 12/21/00
19Wheels opened for 8Stops7 at WGRD's Jingle Jam.  Although it was an 18+ show, I got in because I helped 19Wheels with their merch table.  The owner of the Intersection gave me and my sister a hard time about being there (he was ok when he found out that I was 17, but my sister is only 15 and he was mad about that.  Chris worked it out, though).  This was probably my best 19Wheels experience.  Working the merch table was fun because I got to meet lots of people and tell them about my favorite band.  Their manager, Keith Bailey, was also at the show. He is awesome!  During the 19Wheels set, Rachel (my sister) and I were allowed to sit side stage by ourselved.  The only other people allowed back were the band's manager and dj's from GRD.  Throughout the show, the band kept looking over to us and waving or saying hello or asking if we were enjoying ourselves.  It was a great concert!  I still miss the Six Ways songs, though.
During 8Stops7's set, I was back at the merch table helping with posters, cd's, etc.  So, 8Stops7 was more background music than anything.  However, it didn't sound very good to me so I don't think I missed much.  My opinion may be biased, but I think that 19Wheels was about 40 times better.
This was a highly worthwhile concert.  It was free-Score!  Plus, Rachel and I got free shirts and cd's from both bands for our help.  Not too shabby.
