At the young age of 3 Britney sang Whitney Houston songs in front of the mirror, dressed in fancy clothes and with her mother's make-up.
A year later when she was 4 years old her mother saw that her first daughter was going to be a star, so she gets Britney admitted in the choir of the local babtistchurch, where she sings solo in front of a crowd for the first time.
As Britney got older (8years old) she starts performing and finally got a hint for Mickey Mouse Club which she couldnt get into before because she was too young. The other 3 people who were in the Micky Mouse Club were JC, Justin (Nsync)And Christina Aguilera. One of the cast man told Britney that there was a good manager in New York for talented kids.
A year or so later Britney moves to New York with her mother and sister, where she attended two dancing schools (Professional Performing Arts School and Dance Center, a renowned off-Broadway organisation) the following three summers. At the same time she takes part in several TV-commercials and theatre played on Off Broadway. When Britney reached 11 she attended the entrance examination at "Mickey Mouse Club" again, and finally becomes one of the 20 mouseketeers!!
About 3 years later "Mickey Mouse Club" stops and Britney returns to Kentwood, where she attends a private high school.
Only a year or so pass and Britney gets bored with her school and her father realizes that she is serious about her singing and dancing. They establish contact with an attorney in New York (Larry Rudolph), who has successfully worked with Backstreet Boys, 'N Sync and 98�. She receives a demotape from Larry, that she sings over. He is very impressed and calls her a 'Backstreet Girl' and a 'Solo Spice'. The demo tape is forwarded to Jive Records. They are also impresses and invites her to an audition, where she sings Whitney Houston's 'I Have Nothing' in front of 10 representatives from recording companies. She is hired immediately! Britney records the famouse album '...Baby One More Time'. Subsequent she starts a tour to 26 American malls. The single '...Baby One More Time' becomes a giant hit in the radio, and a fan club is started even before she records the music video.
A year laterThe music video is now on MTV, and several modeling bureaus are interested in using Britney in the fashion campaigns. She does one fashion campaign and takes on tour with 'N Sync as their opening artist. The album '...Baby One More Time' arrives in the shops, and several sales records are made. Britney gets both the single and album on the leading U.S. chart (Billboard) as number one simultaneously.
Two years later Britney shows that she is serious when she brings out her second album "Opps I Did It Again", this was also her first single from the 2nd album which once again shot through the charts and became number one. In the vide she is on planet Mars wearing a red cat suit. She admits she had to wear fake boobs to make her breast look bigger, Britney makes two more singles "Stronger" and "Don't let Me Be The Last To Know", where she wears a bikini and a tight shirt shorts and reveals herself kissing and playing ona beach with a handsom guy. This shocks the press and everyone begins to question is the Vrgin Britney -really a virgin. Never the less the pop princess says she is a virgin and her boyfriend Justin (*NSYNC) plan to keep it like that until they are both married.
By the time November 2001 came Britney re-new herself with her 3rd album "BRITNEY". This was something completely different for Britney and her fans. A totally new sound came from Britney. The album deffinetly proves that Britney has grown up, there is alot of tehno-pop, mixed with some R&B and a little bit of Rock( don't worry there is pop in there too, make sure you get the album)!! The first single that was realised was "I'm A Slave For U" this once again went to number one global wise. The video showed Britney very Hot and sweaty dncing in very low trouses, for sure making any male on the planet hot. Soon her second album was the 2nd track listed from her album "Overprotected" which is still very high in the charts with her 3rd coming single " Not A Girl Not Yet A Woman". This song was writen by Max and Dido and it maches Britney at the stage of being 20. "I'm not a girl, nor a woman, I guess I am just in the middel"-Britney. The story of Britney carries on, this girl has decided to take the light to the movie business. She filmed her movie some time during summer(2001). The movie os called 'Crossroads' and "It's something teenagers can relate to"-Britney explained. It came out in March 2002 and the whole world is talking about it. Britney plays a girl called Lucy "She is shy, keeps to herself and is very smart", "I had loads of fun playing Lucy"-Britney reports. The best part of the movie is that the whole story was based on Britney's idea. "I wanted something that girlfriends could go and see and be touched by". Britney edmitted that no matter what music is her love and she is planning on carring on with that, but she said that she would love to do anothe rmovie or two. She had too much fun on the set!
What does the future hold for the pop princess..........well we'll just have to wait and see!!!
