Thank God we
don’t see ahead
To times when we feel all hope is dead
When life comes at us with screams and scares
And life seems dismal, and no-one cares
Thank God we can grow very strong
Draw on the care and love of our ties
Through anything that can go wrong
We know they see us with loving eyes
Thank God that we knew each other
Had our laughs, our jokes, our fun and sought,
Found and shared a love so strong we don’t need to bother
To act and pretend we are who we’re not
From our love and from our bonds
Lets draw strength, to soldier on
Thank God with each day we’ve found
Someone who has never gone
Someone who is always there
Someone who is love
