FOUR LEGGED FRIEND

Let me introduce to you

A special friend of mine.

Although he's strong and boisterous

His temperament is fine.

When you come in he'll welcome you

And nearly knock you down.

That's just his way of saying

He's glad that you're around.

With fur of red and bib of white

He's such a handsone hound:

With movements that are sleek and smooth

As he trots around.

And all he asks is food and drink

And somewhere warm to sleep,

In return for love and trust.

He more than earns his keep.

He doesn't always come when called,

But nor is he defiant.

He's an Irish Setter and his name

Is Jack, the gentle giant.
