Nightly Reading
Students are expected to read for at least 20 minutes each night and complete a response to what they have read two nights a week. Here is the information from their reading log:
Nightly Reading
Each
night you will read in your book for at least 20 minutes. On this form you will
then record the number of pages read. On two nights of your choice you will also
write a brief summary of what you read, (no more than 20 words or 3
sentences).
On one
night, instead of writing a summary, you will complete the weekly word work.
This assignment varies from week to week.
On one
night, you will just read and record the pages read.
