  • Find common denominators
  • 1/2 = 2/4
  • Understand how sample size affects results. 
  • How valid are the results if I only ask a small number of people a question ~ say I ask 4 students if they like broccoli, and 3 do, is it valid to report that 75% of fifth graders like broccoli?
Developing/Secure
  • Convert between fractions, decimals and percents
  • 3/4 is the same as 75% and 0.75
Secure
  • Identify and use data landmarks
  • median, mode, maximum, minimum
