NECAP Testing is finished....yahoo!
Just what the heck is NECAP?? It is a compact between the education commissioners in Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. It was formed in 2002 to help our states address issues from the No Child Left Behind legislation. It has resulted in the development of common grade level expectations, (GLEs~what we expect our children to learn), in Reading, Writing, Science, and Mathematics, as well as state assessments based on those expectations. More information is available online, as well as the GLEs and some of the practice activities we have been utilizing. Click on the thinking boy to check it out!
