 Congratulations to our poets! We had several winners in the statewide "Hope for 2002" Poetry Contest.  Brandon Baker was 2nd place, and Leigh Callahan, Jacob McKenna, and Bobby Nangle were awarded honorable mention.  You can view their poems by clicking on this link: http://www.ed.uri.edu/rifoundation/contest/winners.html

    Students should be reading a minimum of 20 minutes per night, at least 5 nights each week.  Signed reading slips are due by Tuesday each week.

Students should bring something to read to school daily.  We have a 20-minute D.E.A.R. time.
