- This type of wriiting is the true account of someone's
life. It may be written by the subject, (an autobiography), or may
be authored by another person. One of our biography in-class books
is It Came From Ohio! the life of popular children's writer R. L.
Stine.

Fantasy -
This
genre of literature includes events which could not happen in real life,
such as talking animals, time travel, etc. One of the books we use
in this genre is The Castle in the Attic.
