Identifies at least 1 technique from the list used by the author to draw the reader into the fantasy element.  Identifies if credulity, (or your ability to be drawn in), was stretched too far.  Evidence is used to support most ideas. Description of technique is poorly explained, or no identification of limits of believability.  Evidence is missing or inaccurate. Description does not meet the purpose; no evidence used to support assertions.
Important Scene The scene is described in vivid detail using much rich language.  The importance of the scene is clearly defined. Much specific evidence is provided to support all choices. Scene is described and has a few good details.  Importance of the scene is described using evidence from the story to support your choice of this scene. Description of the scene has only a few details and not enough description to help the reader understand what it is.  OR importance of the scene is not clear. Description and importance of the scene are missing or do not meet the purpose for this section.
