Summary: Shimamura Joe is Cyborg 009, one of nine cyborgs created by the mysterious scientific organization known as �Black Ghost�. The Black Ghost wanted these cyborgs to become killing machines, but they rebelled. They are now on the run.

The Good: This show has non-stop action and a great concept. The nine cyborgs are commendable for not becoming agents of chaos.

The Bad: The animation is a bit loose, not like most anime. It�s kind of similar to that of Kikaider, and takes some getting used to. Also, this is NOT the entire run of the series. Columbia Tri-star only bought enough for this 2-disc set. GRR!

Offensive Material: Aside from the small amount of violence, there�s not much here to offend.

Overall: This is very intriguing. I like it.

Note: This anime is based on a manga that is being published in America by Tokyopop. The series of reprints will begin in October 2003 and is expected to last for eight issues.
