This here is a list of venues around Rockland, with reviews and more.
The Playhouse on Main REVIEW The Playhouse is probably the best local venue your band can play at. Mainly used by In A Can Productions, run by Ed Willock of Worlds Demise. Out of all the local venues, the Playhouse deffinatley has the best sound, clear and crisp. And if you play a show there with In A Can, you can geat a GREAT quality live recording for cheap. This place is deffinatley one of the best if not the best local venues.
Olives REVIEW Olives is another one of the best venues around. At Olives you get a nice are with great sound and a small stage.... Olives usually puts on its own shows, but is ocasionally used by In A Can and other production companies.
The Backdoor REVIEW The Backdoor is another good place to play. It is the biggest out of all the local spots. The size does have its advantages, but it tends to get a bit echoey with the PA. the music generally sounds good, but they have had PA troubles many times before. Regardless, the Backdoor is still a great place to go.
Club Static REVIEW Although I myself have never been to Club Static in Monroe, I hear very good things. Club Static is known to have more established bands come through, as well as local bands. I hear the staff is amazing and goes completely out of their way all for you... yeah.. you should definatley check this place out.. as will I.
Club Culture REVIEW Another venue that i cant really review to well on acount of I've never actually been there. But the people i know that have say its a pretty nice place. Good sound, good size, and nice people... i deff wanna get here eventually.. you should to.
