| Along with the Rock Island Railroad, Caterpiller had an important part with of the Quad Cities. Other companies inclued: J.I. Case, International Havester(I.H.), and John Deere. With the Rock Island Line, it helped to make this area a power house of economic growth for the Quad Cities. |
