The Sound of Music (cont.)
The day of the performance came. I'll admit that even though I was very excited, I was so nervous I nearly got sick. However, once on stage the colorful lights shining in me eyes made it hard to see me friends standing in the dark room and I felt more at ease. At the time I didn't realize that there were 115 teenagers packed into the room. The performance went very well. Everyone got into the music and was jumping and clapping and screaming. We did two songs we had written and one Beatles song. Everyone was telling us what a good job we did and I was surprised. We didn't even have a drummer. (Click Here For Pictures)

Then in November of 1999 we found a boy named Nathan Sales, a few months older than me, who went to Fire Escape. He played drums so we asked if he would like to be our drummer and he said he would. However, less than a month later his family moved to Austrailia. It had been good practice to play with a drummer some, but we were quite dissapointed. (Click

In June of 2000 I got me dream guitar--- a Rickenbacker 330/12 Fireglow. I love it and it sounds great!

In July of 2000 Nathan Sales and his family moved back to Colorado and we started playing together once again. Our youth paster heard us play and offered to be our producer and help us get really good together. We found an 18-year-old girl named Danielle to be our lead singer and a 17-year-old boy named Chris Fleharty to be our bass player. A short time later, Chris quit the band and was replaced with Jordon. Nathan decided to join me on guitar and Lyndsey Kenton became our drummer. A week or two later, Nathan quit the band. Then Lyndsey quit and Jordon was in another band. For a while I thought Sarah Patterson would be me lead singer, but she joined the army instead. Right now (Feb 5 2001) I have no idea who all will be in my band. All I know is that John is going to put me in some band and we're going on a concert tour to California this summer! Woohoo!

In October of 2000 I began recording me own solo album, High Time, on me four-track recorder. It has 11 of me own songs on it and was released on January 1, 2001. For more information about it, click

Well, I hope this story wasn't boaring and that you enjoyed the pictures and everything. This story was sure a lot of work to put together. Enough for now. *Rock On*~~PEACE
