TURN ON...to life
DROP OUT...of church
As many of you know there's been a lot of talk from our church leaders that
"WE'VE GOT TO GET AWAY FROM PROGRAMS!", and then they continue as usual with
the service! It's amazing to me to watch such a phenomenon. It's like the
famous "WE GIVE YOU FULL REIGN IN OUR SERVICE!DO,LORD,WHAT YOU WANT TO DO,IN JESUS NAME..AMEN..YOU MAY BE SEATED TO TAKE UP AN OFFERING" trick. After awhile it becomes humorous.
It's also hilarious when leaders use the terms "REVOLUTION" or "REFORMATION"
and do not know the implications of what they say. God might even be
speaking through them as they declare a revolution,(revolution meaning
revolt or rebel). They're telling the whole congregation to just go home,
stop paying them a salary, lock up the church building and start over, in
one word: REVOLUTION. But then they quickly move on to the next subject of
the service...with out any action...no revolution!
How many of you feel sick to you stomach or uneasy when you enter into the
doors of the church? The ushers are wearing that extraordinary grin, as you
pass through the door you are handed a program. You feel like you've gone to
see a play or musical. A false feeling so strong you could cut it with a
knife. You know what to expect after that... the "program as usual"...a
boring service...not even fit for someone dead!
For awhile now there's been talk of the "Jesus Movement" happening again.
This was a great wave of hippie people getting saved in the early 70's. When
they got saved they were hairy, smelly, barefoot and farrrrr out. You don't
have to guess what happened to them...The matrix(church system)got ahold of
em'. A large percentage left the church and God all because of the false,
middle-class lifestyle being imposed on them.
When most people hear the word Buddhist,they think of bald ,orange robed
monks with gongs. Muslims, and they think of black clothed women and
Mosques. What do they think of when they hear the word Christian?* Our dead
rituals & traditions dictate to the world what is required of them if they
want to join our religion. I can't count the amount of people who have
completely rejected God, not because they like sin so much, but because they
have seen what it is to "be a Christian". They have seen the "sunday best"
reflection being presented around the world.
Many people belive the reformation will happen within their church building
or the church system as a whole. They can pray and pray but nothing is going
to happen. It is impossible for the new reformation to happen in the
existing Protestant system. Consider the Reformation of the catholic system.
The system didn't change,the reformers just left. Catholicism exist to this
day & so will our dead protestant system continue.
