Here is another aspect of the work we do at gallopers this is restoration of churches or any historical building. Here is some of the skill used to repair perished artefacts of the churches.
I am currently working on Four churches there are St Mary's Church East Horsley in Surrey, St Peters Church, Ash in Surrey, St Mary's Church in Hayling Island and St Faiths in Lea on Solent.
The jobs I have entailed at St Mays Church are repair and replace the Oak Louvers of the Bell Tower and currently working on the church gates.
The Jobs I have entailed at St Peter church is where I have repaired the west side outer doors and replace specialised moulding to original spec oak weather bars. Also repaired a section of the vestry door back to original spec, unable to see where it was repaired from outside view.
At St Mary's Church in Hayling Island I have repaired the Lynch Gates, where I have used oak panels with remembrance carvings.
