I am writing this letter to thank all of my special friends, family and fans for all their help, prayers, support and knowledge. I have been a true Elvis fan since 1970. I have studied his life, music and concerts from the time I was 17-years-old and was told by family and friends alike "you sound like Elvis!" Being a devoted fan, I was encouraged to work on improving my singing. I practiced every day, watching videos of his concerts so that I could bring his moves and his songs to the fans who come to see me perform. I have spent the largest part of my life helping to keep the music of Elvis alive. I am not in this for the glamour. When I go into a nursing home to perform, and I see the tears, cheers, smiles and clapping, when I see some people even getting up from their wheelchairs to dance, I know I'm doing something right, something from deep within my heart. I'm making people happy by bringing wonderful memories of Elvis back to his fans. During an award banquet many years ago, Elvis said "For every dream I ever dreamed has come true a hundred times. Without a song, the day would never end. Without a song, a man ain't got a friend. Without a song, the road would never bend ... without a song. So I will keep singing the songs."
