The Togath Uprising

CHAPTER 1 AWAKENED
I awoke with a start thinking what in the world. Strange
thoughts continued to plague my mind insisting upon my attention.
This frame of mind caused me to sit up and turn the lights on and
look around the room. Seeing nothing unusual dismissed the whole
thing as an emotional response to an already forgotten dream.
Being tired and still half asleep automatically reached out turned
the lights off and lay back down.

Then, just as I was beginning to drift back into the soft
relaxing mode of sleep, there it was again. Ive finally found
you, ha ha ha inserted itself into my mind. This irritation
caused me to pull the pillow over my head after finding that this
didnt help. Stuck my fingers in my ears, to block out the
irritating noise, which had no effect on diminishing the
irritation. Then heard Arnold old buddy, Im back which caught
my attention. Immediately setting up turned the lights back on and
began looking around the room again, still seeing nothing.

Still being only half-awake wasnt quite sure what was
going on, but the voice sounded familiar. At which point I began
thinking to myself, this is weird. Not only am I hearing things,
but Im also feeling things that I havent felt for a long time.
There appears to be a, complete mental intercourse-taking place
 inside my head.

It seems like someone is talking to me and I hear Wake
up. Being only half-awake I questioned what for? At which
point I pinch myself thinking, Im still asleep and this is just a
dream Ouch! That hurt, guess that means Im not asleep. Then
began thinking if Im not asleep, whats going on? Then hear Im
trying to tell you, its me and no youre not asleep. Then I
began to think. If Im not asleep what is this and how is this
 happening?
Oh boy this is a really strange dream. When I heard this
is not a dream the hair on the back of my neck begins to stand
up. And I began to answer with the question Are you sure, that
Im not dreaming? He, it seemed like a he, answers, yes, Im
sure. Its me and Im really here, come on relax and listen up.
The prickly hair on the back of my neck was being replaced with
fear and panic. As I begin thinking if Im not asleep and Im not
 dreaming then Im being possessed.
He says No; Im not trying to possess you. I ask, then
why does it feel like Im being possessed? He replies Possession
is being taken over completely we are just sharing. Possession is
all but impossible. By this time I am wide awake and beginning to
think that Im hearing voices but this does not explain the
strange feelings. And now Im talking to myself I must be going
crazy, oh boy this really is strange. Then I hear No, youre not
going crazy either. Listen to me! Im Jack and Im here! As my
mind becomes filled with past events I becoming less fearful and
more intrigued. I begin to think, It cant be, whats going on,
this cant be Jack, Jack is dead who are you? In response to my
thoughts he immediately responds Like I said, Jack.

And then he continues to share some events and meetings of
our past. Reviewing them I come to the think this is Jack and said
I thought you were dead. Then begin to share what Bob and I
experienced in the lab, and the subsequent events leading me to
this belief. To which he responds Hardly, Ive been having an
unbelievable time. By this time I truly was beginning to believe
that this was Jack. So I said Ok, tell me about it? Because by
this time my curiosity was kicking in and replacing some of the
fear. He said well, let me show you. And a plethora of events
began to flood my mind. Experiencing a sensory overload I said
Whoa. He responded with ok, Ill slow down thinking that Im
still confused began to share at a much slower pace. The things
 that happened from his perspective.

But before I tell you what Jack told me, or more
accurately shared with me, let me give you a little background on
how we met and became acquainted. By the way my name is Arnold,
Arnold Johnston and this is how I met Jack. Bob and I were having
coffee at a local restaurant talking about the new floor that we
had just installed in my kitchen. When we overheard, Jack talking
to Ronald, about the concept of free energy. And the experiment
that he was working on. A motor generator combination that would
produce more energy than it consumed. We overheard enough of the
 conversation to become intrigued.

Being a bit of a science buff, I interrupted with excuse
me, Im not trying to be rude but perpetual motion is
impossible.Jack replied thats true and continued with Im not
after perpetual motion. What I am after is the conversion of
energy from one form into another. And to test a theory that
energy can be acquired through harmonic resonance and channeled
into a device from its surroundings. And that this acquired
energy can be stored and converted into almost any form.

Using an illustration of two guitars across the room from
each other. saying that if you pluck a string on one of them will
cause the same string on the other one to vibrate. Stating that
this is known as sympathetic harmonic resonance. That radio is a
prime example of sympathetic harmonic resonance, of
electromagnetic energy. He went on with, a radio station emits
electromagnetic energy of a specific frequency and any receiver
tuned to that frequency pulls some of that energy out of the air.
After amplification filters out all but the audio and amplifies
it and thats what you hear. Television does the same thing for
video and audio at the same time.

He went on with another more physical example of a thing
drawing energy from its surroundings is a glass made from
crystal. Take wet the tip of your finger and then lightly run it
around the rim of the glass until it begins to sing. If you
continue this process properly the crystal will shatter. Have you
ever questioned how the crystal acquired enough energy to shatter
with just a light touch of your finger? Solar energy comes from
the sun. If you convert solar energy into electrical energy, that
can be stored and used at a later time is that perpetual motion?
There is more energy around you than you could ever use.
In many forms: thermal, electrical, chemical, gravitational, wind,
tidal, photonic, etcetera. The trick is to convert any of them
from one form into another. Or convert and store it in a form
 that can be used later.

Jack asked, have you ever heard of Nikolai Tesla? Bob
said sure, every ones heard of the father, of multiphase or (AC)
power. When the Niagara Falls power plant, was being built. Tesla
offered to sell Westinghouse the rights to the concept, of
multiphase power generation, for one million dollars and a dollar
per horsepower. When Westinghouse realized that he couldnt afford
the dollar per horsepower, he told Tesla. Because, Tesla wanted
to see his concept put into practice, he told Westinghouse to
forget the dollar per horsepower just make it happen. Westinghouse
did and today we use AC instead of DC power. Tesla was also into
 resonance and its applications.

Then, Jack asked us to join them. Considering that we were
hanging over the partition and that he had no hope of ignoring us.
No sooner, had we sat down than Ronalds, (Jacks friend) cell
phone rang. He answered it spoke for a minute and excused himself,
saying something important had come up. Bob and I, told him that
it had been nice to have met, and hoped that everything worked out
ok. Jack said, see you later, bye. Jack immediately brought the
subject of conversation back to. Do you realize and emphasized the
if, free energy was obtainable by everyone, what the consequences
would be. What would happen if a terrorist or a madman had the
ability to acquire unlimited energy? What would happen to the
status quo, or the economy? That with knowledge comes
responsibility. From there the conversation became quite animated.
From that day on we frequently got together and discussed many
things. In the process we became the best of friends.

Over time we developed this three-musketeer relationship.
Jack, Arnold, Bob (JAB), poke in the ribs, get it. Bob and I,
called him crazy Jack, all in fun, of course. Which he took
quite well, most of the time? Not being much good at socializing
Jack buried himself in the study of things instead of people. This
probably came about because as I understand it when he was growing
up he moved around so much that he never had time to get to know
anyone well enough to establish a personal relationship. Also
being poor he got picked on quite a bit, you know how cruel kids
can be. This caused him to retreat into his own world of numbers,
science and science fiction. So unless the topic of conversation
pertained to some form of science Jack was slightly inept
socially. When he wasnt at work, he was usually, in his shop
tinkering, in his study reading, at the local coffee shop, or at
one our houses discussing a new twist to some concept.

If Jack liked you, he would give you the shirt off of his
back. And his interest in everything, especially science, made
Jack an intriguing person. Whenever we got together he always had
an interesting idea to talk about which would lead you into a
mental exercise. Most of the time this would be a pleasant
experience. His passion for science seemed to drive him. It was
not uncommon, for him to call at three a.m. expounding on some new
idea or concept that he had just come across. Occasionally causing
some stress in our relationship. Most of the time this was easy to
overlook, because his passion was contagious.

While Jack was expounding on a concept, quite often you
would, ask for clarification on some moot point and his answer
would often uncover some new and intriguing possibilities. Then,
we would be off on another tangent, exchanging information and
exploring new concepts, which we would brainstorm, if we had the
time. When we did this and hit a snag or dead end. Jack always had
the uncanny ability to bring the conversation right back to the
original topic. This brings me to the night Jack disappeared.

One stormy evening, while settling down with a bowl of
popcorn, to watch an episode of star trek, Damn! The lights went
out. Right when it was starting to get interesting. Thinking to
myself must have tripped a breaker. Being dark used my lighter to
search for a flashlight. After searching for about five minutes
and proceeding to toast a couple of fingers in the process found
it. The problem was it wasnt where it should have been. Using the
flashlight went to the breaker panel and flipped a couple of
breakers. Using my wonderful power of observation when nothing
happened concluded that the power was out.

Still grumbling to myself about missing the rest of the
Star Trek episode went back to the living room in hopes that the
power would soon come back on. Pulled the drapes back and looking
outside, seen that it was pitch black. Being overcast, there was
no moonlight or a single light, as far as you could see. It was as
black out there, as it was in here. Realizing that the power might
be out for a while, begun rummaging around, looking for candles.
Finding a couple lit them and waited for the lights to come back
on. Waited for about half-hour, before boredom began to set in and
then called Jack. Must have let the phone ring a half a dozen
times not receiving an answer. Started to wonder where could he
be? After giving it some consideration thought maybe hes over at
Bobs. So I called Bob, and didnt even hear it ring before he
 picked it up and said.
Hey Arnold, did your power go out?
Yeah, right in the good part of star trek. So is yours out too?
After telling him that he proceeded to fill me in on what I had
missed. Having seen that episode before. Then asked Is Jacks
power out? Told him I dont know I called him and couldnt get
an answer. Thought that, he was at your place.
 No, hes not here.
Well then, lets go over and see what hes doing.
Ok, see you at his place; give me a few minutes.
 Ok, see ya, bye.

Living a few blocks closer to Jacks place than Bob, I
arrived first. Knocked at the front door and called out loudly
Jack after not receiving an answer. I started around back, to
check the shop. Thats when Bob showed up, continuing to be
concerned told him that Jack wasnt answering the door. Bob then
suggested that we go out back, to the shop. As we headed in that
direction I told him, Thats where I was headed. The door wasnt
locked so we opened it and called out, Jack not receiving an
answer. Do you think when the lights went out; maybe he fell or
got hurt, using one of his tools. The shop was dark, so I went to
the car and dug out a flashlight banging it on my hand to make it
work. Went back to the shop and proceeded to look around.

The first thing we noticed was a bare area around the
workbench. Everything that wasnt nailed down, weighing less than
five pounds in a ten-foot radius was melted into a standing cone,
point down. This cone was about three feet tall. Seeing this
instantly piqued my curiosity, and made a closer look imperative.
There was, scrap metal, nails, screws, circuit boards, wire,
plastics and paper. All stuck together, forming this miniature
 glowing cyclone.

In amazement began a conundrum of thoughts like, Wow!
What happened here? And then as the amazement began turning into
curiosity I remember thinking about. How could you melt metal and
paper together without burning the paper or melting the plastics?
Considering that the paper wasnt even charred. Lead to how could
you melt metal without heat? Another question that came to mind
was what made this thing glow. On top of that what continued to
make this thing stand up and defy gravity? Like a gyroscope,
precessing and turning slowly about a vertical axis. With just the
tip resting gently on the workbench.

We stared at it for a minute, frozen, trying to grasp what
happened here. While trying to make some sense of what we were
looking at reached out to touch this thing and crack a large spark
knocked me down and the thing fell over, with a loud thump. Bob
seeing this came over to help me up and snap, a spark nailed him
too. For a minute or so we, were a little nervous about even going
near the thing. Finally curiosity got the best of me and I reached
out very tentatively and touched it again. No shock, this time, it
was warm to the touch. While touching it, there seemed to be
something a sound or was it a vibration couldnt tell weather it
was heard felt or just imagination. Dismissed it as a trick of my
imagination. Out of curiosity touched it again, was that a
melodious sound or just a vibration? Did I feel it or hear it.
I asked Bob to check it out, he couldnt tell either.

We just stood there discussing what we had just
experienced. Not coming up with any answers or for that matter
anything intelligent. After a few minutes of pointless banter we
continued to look for Jack. We fruitlessly, searched every nook
and cranny, of the shop. Having found neither hide nor hair of him
went back to the house. The back door was unlocked so we went in
calling, Jack, are you here? Receiving no replies, we went in to
look around. Not finding him we thought it best to secure the
place and locked up the house and the shop. Being shaken by what
we had witnessed we proceeded down to the local coffee shop to see
if Jack had gotten rattled and went there. Wondering why he didnt
call one of us first. By the time we arrived the power was back
on, we went in and looked around, not finding him.

We ordered some coffee and began discussing what we had
seen, while trying to figure out what happened. All the while
wondering what happened to him. Where would he go leaving
everything unlocked? After a couple of hours, when it became
apparent that Jack was not going to show. We decided to check with
the local hospital to see if he had been in an accident. Thinking
that if he had been in an accident, he would be or have been
there. After looking through the records told us that they had no
record of him checking in recently, so after agreeing to continue
 looking tomorrow we went home.

The next day after work I went over to Jacks place, and
found that his place was still locked and Jack still wasnt there.
Checking with Bob found that he hadnt heard from Jack either. We
then went to the police, to see what we could find out. They told
us not to worry, that he would show up. They wouldnt or couldnt
do anything until after he had been missing for three days. After
three days we went back and they took our statement. And Asked if
either of us had a recent picture of Jack while taking our
statement. Told them that I had a recent picture of us as a group
from a fishing trip and that I would bring it in. They said that
as soon as they had it they would send out a bulletin and told us
that they would look for him. They must have done something,
because the 3 days later, there were two unmarked cars and Three
vans at Jacks place. As I stood there, watching several guys in
black, come and go from the house. One went into the shop, came
out and called the others back.

When they started taking things out of the shop I objected
with, hey thats private property. They told me to mind my own
business and go home. When I became insistent. They became sternly
polite and very non-committal. When I threatened to call the
police. They said, the police called us and gave me a business
card. Suggesting in a manner that indicated that this conversation
was finished. Told me if you have any more questions call this
number. And then continued taking things out of the shop and the
house. From their manner I gathered that these guys were nobody to
fool with, that they were strictly business. Observing that there
was nothing that I could do decided to go home. On the way checked
out the card. This is all that was on the entire card.

 Agent: John Smith
	   N.S.A
 Phone: 100-555-1234

We called the number. They made polite noises and brushed
us off. After several more tries we gave up on that avenue of
pursuit. If there ever was an answer to what had happened nobody
was talking about it. What happened, never became apparent and
 still begs for an answer.

If it ever made any sense to the authorities, they never let
anybody know.Jacks disappearance wasnt even mentioned
in the paper. This happened several years ago. We had long since
given up hope of ever hearing from Jack again.

This having been said brings me to, Jacks explanation of
  what happened.
