WELCOME to the first edition of the KONOS Courier.  I pray this newsletter will encourage you during this time of year.  I recently attended a weekend gathering at the Hulcy’s home which allowed me to exchange ideas with the KONOS authors and other reps. I would like to share some new ideas with you such as the new support group I’m forming, as well as the Pillar Moms concept.

 

KONOS USER’S SUPPORT GROUP will be held on the first Thursday of each month in the Rockford area.  The topic for the first meeting is ‘Right Brain vs Left Brain’.  We’ll have plenty of time for sharing, discussions, questions and answers.   Door prizes as well as tips on using KONOS will be shared as well.  The meeting will be held at my home (address below).  Please RSVP so I may plan for refreshments and give directions.  The date is set for Thursday, March 7 from 7-9 pm.  I hope you can join us for a night of encouragement.

 

TIMELINE TIPS:  We put our figures up with tacky putty.  We place the figures on the wall just above the lines.  That way the lines are not stressed and pulled down as easily.

 

Where to put your timeline?  In our previous home there was little space, so I placed them on the back of two doors in the same room.  That worked well since one of the doors was used very frequently; our girls saw the characters often. 

 

PILLAR MOMS:  KONOS is looking for Pillar Moms to start a support group in your area.  There may be monetary benefits to this position.  Pillar Moms schedule and run monthly meetings to support other KONOS moms.  If you think you may be interested in this, please contact me at (815) 877-2097.

 

CREATING THE BALANCE VIDEO SEMINAR:  It is time once again to begin scheduling the Creating the Balance Seminars.  This is an all day video seminar featuring Jessica Hulcy who demonstrates using KONOS.  If you would like to host one in your area, please contact me as soon as possible.  All you have to do is have a room available, possibly at your home, church or library, with a TV and VCR.  I will do the rest.  I will bring the refreshments and lots of tips to share. 

 

I would like to get the word out at the upcoming conventions with the details for each seminar. Therefore, I will be offering an incentive for your gracious hospitality in hosting the seminar. In addition to your fee being waived, a 10% discount towards your purchase or a set of free KONOS How-To audiotapes will be offered.  Contact me for details ASAP so arrangements can be made.
