The dawn's light gleamed through the window and sparkled on his face. James twitched his nose slightly and slowly opened his eyes. He lifted his head up and saw the sunlight shining through the window. He yawned and stretched his body gracefully.
He caressed the face of the body next to him and smiled at her. James bent down and kissed her cheek. "I love you." He whispered in her ear.
Jessie stirred in her sleep and smiled. "Mmmm, James. . ." She whispered. She shifted her body slightly and gently sighed. James smiled at her and looked around the bedroom. He sighed and stood up, ready to begin the day. James took the robe from the end of their bed and put it on. He tied the sash and looked at his wife once more.
Jessie was still asleep. James smiled at the thought of her. She was so beautiful in every way. He remembered their first night together. It was only about three weeks ago. She had looked so innocent with flowers in her hair and the nightgown she'd worn was so elegant. He remembered that he'd been shocked and dumb founded at the sight of her. It was like she'd become a whole new person. James had told her that she looked like an angel. Jessie truly was an angel; James' angel.
Jessie lay on the bed, her body entangled in the rumpled sheets. Her hair was all out of place, but she never looked more perfect than that. To James, she had no fault. He excused everything she'd ever done to hurt him. God knows it was a mistake on her part. Jessie didn't enjoy beating on James. In a way she was just trying to cover her real feelings. But things were different now. She and James had finally confessed their true feelings and whats more, they were married. The past didn't matter to either of them. Only the present and and their future together was something to look forward to.
James smiled as she moved slightly. He left the room and headed for the kitchen. Meowth was asleep on the sofa. He was lying on his back with his legs outstretched in air. He was smoring loudly, but it was so cute that it was more purring than snoring. He twitched his nose slightly as James scratched behind Meowth's ear. Meowth slowly opened his eyes and saw James leaning over him
"Morning. . . Want some breakfast? " James whispered as he continued to pet Meowth's soft fur. Meowth stretched his body out and sighed as he relaxed again.
"Tanks." he spoke softly and smiled. James nodded and smiled at Meowth before he went into the kitchen.
Meowth sat up and scratched his ear with his foot, like a normal cat would. He sighed and relaxed against the soft, comfy cushions on the sofa. He closed his eyes and opened them again as he thought of Jessie."Is she still asleep?" he thought to himself. He jumped off the sofa and headed for the bedroom.
Meowth passed the kitchen door and saw James up against the stove.
He was cooking. "Gee, sure smells good." Meowth commented. James didn't
look up from the stove and only gave a short reply."Thanks." His reply
sounded polite, but he didn't have time to talk. It looked like he was
making a feast. James opened the door of the fridge as he stirred the bowl
with his
other hand. He pulled out a milk carton and poured it's contents
into the bowl as he continued to mix the batter.
Meowth ignored him and walked down the hall. He entered the bedroom and saw Jessie asleep on the bed. He quietly walked towards the bed and stopped. He'd better be calm and quiet, or else she'd surely give him a big whippin'. He leaped on the bed and Jessie stirred in her sleep, but only a little bit; not enough to wake anyone up.
Meowth softly stepped over to where she lay. He made himself comfortable and cuddled up next to her. Jessie moved suddenly and Meowth could feel her arms wrap around his body. She hugged him softly and purred in her arms. Jessie muttered something and petted Meowth's head. Was she awake? Meowth turned his head and saw that she was still asleep. "Hmmm, she must be dreaming." he whispered. Meowth smiled at her expression. She looked so content and peaceful as she slept.
"She's so beautiful." he whispered to himself. Meowth gazed at
Jessie. He'd never seen her look more beautiful in all her life. She looked
so perfect and calm. Anybody would be envious of her body. Jessie looked
like an angel herself. Meowth rubbed up against her neck and she softly
awakened.
Jessie's eyes slowly flickered open and she saw Meowth smiling
at her. She slowly yawned but did not move her body. "Hello Meowth." she
spoke quietly. Meowth didn't speak, he just meowed quietly. Jessie giggled
softly and stroked Meowth's fur.
"What's wrong with you? Cat got your tongue?" she smirked.
"Ha ha ha. Very funny." he replied. "Rise and shine sleeping
beauty."
Jessie inhaled the air and softly let it out. "I don't want to." she sighed. "I've been so tired lately." She picked up her pillow and threw it over her head. She clutched it tightly until Meowth pryed it from her grasp. "I wanna talk." he grimaced.
"I'm too tired to talk." Jessie grabbed the pillow and hurled it at Meowth's head. It missed him when he ducked. "Sorry Jess. It's just that I haven't seen ya around since right afta' da weddin'." Meowth hadn't talked to Jessie since their wedding reception. They'd been on vacation at some tropical resort in the Orange Islands. They now had their own small house in Pallet town. Meowth had taken care of the place while they were gone.
"What do you want Meowth?" Jessie grinned and ruffled the fur
on Meowth's head. Meowth looked at her and smiled.
"I just missed ya. Dat's all." Jessie sat up and picked up Meowth,
setting him in her lap.
"I've missed you too." She smiled tenderly at him. Meowht lifted
his head and licked her cheek. "I love youse Jess." he whispered. She hugged
him and kissed his forehead. "I love you too Meowth. You are just too sweet."
She tenderly rubbed her nose against his cheek and giggled.
They bothed laughed and snuggled together in the soft, blue blankets. James entered then with a tray filled with food. He walked over to the dresser and sat the tray down. Jessie saw him and giggled."Good morning sweetheart!" she chirped as she continued to pet Meowth. James lifted the tray again and brought it over to the bed. He sat it down and then sat down himself. "My, your happy this morning." he smiled at Jessie and softly kissed her lips.
"Awww, you made breakfast for me. Thank you." she grinned and picked up a glass of orange juice and swallowed it down. When she finished, she sat it back down on the tray and picked a slice of toast and munched on it. James grabbed her by the shoulders and shook her."Who are you, and what have you done with the real Jessie?!" he smirked.
"Quit it James. All I did was say thank you. What's so unusual about that?"she frowned and and took another bite of her toast. James kissed her cheek and smiled. "I just thought you were acting strange." Jessie softly kissed his lips and took another piece of toast from the tray. "Are you feelin' alright Jess?" Meowth asked her.
" Of course. . . Why does everyone keep looking at me weirdly?!
" she whined.
" Jessie, No one is looking at you weirdly." James replied.
Jessie frowned and picked up a plate of scramble eggs and quickly gulped
them down. When she finished she saw James drinking a glass of orange juice.
" Are you gonna drink the rest of that? " She asked him.
James looked at his glass and handed it over to Jessie."No, of course not." he replied. She smiled and quickly gulped the rest of it down. "Got any more? " she asked him. "Uh, there's more in the kitchen." he replied. Meowth looked at Jessie suspiciously. "Are you sure youse is feelin' alright?"
Jessie didn't hear him. She'd already left the room. Meowth looked
at James and grinned oddly. James saw him and frowned." What? " he asked
him.
Meowth smiled as he jumped off the bed and began to walk towards
the door. "Nottin." He smirked and walked out the door. James looked
at him curiously and picked up the tray of food and left the bedroom.

Misty impatiently rapped at the brass door knocker. After much waiting, the door finally opened. "Sorry Mist, I was taking a shower. I had to atleast put my robe on. Ya know?" Jessie smiled. Misty rolled her eyes and pushed Jessie out of her way, heading towards the sofa and sat herself down.
"Is something wrong misty?" Jessie asked her annoyingly, yet concerned. Misty only sighed and put her hand to her temples. "I'm not feeling well today." Misty grumbled angrilly.
"Not again Misty! You had another fight with Ash; didn't you?"
"Yes. . ." Misty whispered.
"Misty, you love Ash, right?" Jessie questioned her.
"Of course."
"Would you ever want to upset him?"
"No, of course not!"
"Then why do you persist on bringing up the subject of that wretched bike?! You know he hates it when you talk about to him about it. Why do you continue to do so?!" Jessie asked Misty reasonably. She sat down by her on the sofa and placed her hand on Misty's shoulder. "Misty, if you really do love Ash; then why do you always insist that he repay you for the bike that he ruined? Let it alone. Besides, would you really want a bike? You're older now. You should be thinking about cars by now."
Misty looked up at her good friend. "You're right." she sighed, and then with a big grin; "I'll just make him buy me a car instead!"
Jessie face faulted. "Misty!. . ." Misty looked at her questioningly; a half smile, half frown on her face. Jessie sighed and smiled at her. "You just don't get it. Do you?"
"Get what?" Misty asked innocently.
"Nothing. . . Nothing at all. . . Would you care for some lunch? I have cold cuts and homemade bread in the fridge." Jessie invited her. "Sure! I'm starved!" Misty replied happily.
Misty followed Jessie into the kitchen and sat down at the table. Jessie went straight to the refridgerator and opened it, pulling out the contents that she needed. She made Misty a sandwich, and then another for herself. "Misty, there's chips in the cabinet if you want any."
"Okay, thanks." Misty stood up and walked over to the cabinet and swung open the door. The shelves were filled with beautiful morsels to enjoy and devour. James was obviously a very good cook. "My goodness! What a wide variety of food!" Misty exclaimed.
"Oh, I know! James never can get enough of cooking. And another detail I let you in on; the food never becomes spoiled!" Jessie laughed, slicing a tomato. "Meowth and James would eat everything . . . if I let them."
Misty laughed as well and pulled out a bag of potato chips, opening them and placing the food on their plates. "I suppose James is at work right now?" she asked Jessie, trying to make small talk. "Yeah, he's at the restaurant."
"I can't believe he really owns a whole restaurant! It's unbelievable."
"I know," Jessie placed the food on the table and sat herself
down."It's always been a James' dream. He finally accomplished it." she
smiled and took a small bite out of her sandwich. Misty smiled too and
ate her food.
The two friends enjoyed their meal together, and when they were
finished they went into the living room to watch one of their favorite
soap operas. "Do you think Ethan will ever cancel his wedding to Gwen?"
Misty asked Jessie as she sat down.
"I dunno." Jessie replied as she picked up the remote and switched on the television. "I'll bet that it'll come time for their wedding. And then when Ethan and Gwen are at the alter, he'll probably admit it. All soaps are the same! Always waiting until the last second to come out with the truth!" she spoke annoyingly.
Misty and Jessie watched their 'soap' until it went off. Jessie clicked the remote, turning off the television set. They sat there boringly for about fifteen minutes. "So whadda ya wanna do now?" Misty asked uninterested.
"Well, I actually have to leave here pretty soon. I have a doctor's appointment at 1:30." said Jessie, playing with a string she found on the sofa cushion. "Oh really? Are you sick or something?" Misty asked with a concerning tone.
"No, I don't think so. I've just been having weird stomach pains lately and I always want to eat. I probably need to see a diatrition. I've gained five pounds in the last few weeks." Jessie spoke annoyingly.
"Oh my gawd! Jess, do you think you might b- be. . ."
"Be what? Pregnant? . . . Never! I just need to lose some weight. James has been stuffing me with rich food ever since he proposed to me. I'm just fat. . . That's all. . . Besides, I can't get pregnant. I have a job interview in two weeks."
"It was just an idea. Anyhow, what're you applying for?"
"Well, I've always wanted to be a fashion designer. There's an opening position for a secretary at the Beweler clothes company. If I get hired, I can hand in some of my designs to the head of the company." Jessie grinned.
"That'd be fun. I'll be sure to buy some of your designs. I already have one of the Jessica Cummings originals!" Misty laughed, proudly displaying a pink sweater that Jessie'd made her about a month ago. Jessie smiled and laughed too. "Yeah right! I made that from a clothing patern. I didn't design it." Jessie spoke.
"Still, you made it!" Misty smiled.
Jessie smiled again and stood up, walking towards the closet. "Well, I should best be on my way." she spoke, opening the closet and pulling her jean jacket out and slipped it on. Misty gave a deep sigh and opened her mouth to speak. "Um, Jess? Do you think I could stay here, waiting for you to get back?" she asked anxiously.
Jessie could tell that Misty didn't want to go back to Ash's house and smiled at her welcomingly. "Of course Mist. Make yourself at home!" she smiled tenderly. Misty yelped with joy and plopped relaxingly on the sofa, taking the remote in hand and switched on the television.
"Now no parties dear!" Jessie spoke playfully, imitating a mother.
"Yes mother." Misty spoke sternly with a tone of laughter. They both laughed together and Jessie soon took her leave. "Oh no! Not again!" Misty grimaced. "I saw this one last weekend!" she huffed, uninterested about the replay of Tenchi Muyo she was watching. . .
***
almost three hours later. . .
Jessie smiled as she opened the door to her house. She entered and saw her friend standing on the sofa, jumping up and down and swinging her arms as if she were fighting someone. "No! Pin his arms down! Watch out for that left swing! Go! C'mon you stupid idiot!!!" Misty yelled at the television set.
Jessie giggled at the amusing display. Misty turned around and blushed embarrasingly. "Uh. . .I-uh. . ." she spoke nervously. "Sorry!" she chirped as she clkicked the remote and jumped off the wrecked sofa. "I get carried away sometimes!"
"So, how'd it go at the doctor's?" Misty asked, changing the subject before Jessie got too mad at her. However, Jessie wasn't mad at all. In fact, her face was beaming with joy. "Jessie?" Misty prodded her.
"Oh Misty! This is wonderful!" Jessie exclaimed and gave Misty the biggest hug of her life. "Ah! J-Jessie!. . . You're choking me!" Misty gasped.Jessie laughed and hugged her again, but not so tight.
"What's going on?"
Jessie looked over Misty's shoulder and saw James, standing in the bathroom doorway. "Oh James!" she laughed, running over to him. Jessie jumped on him and he caught her in his arms. She kissed his lips and his whole face over and over, practically knocking James down to the floor.
Misty left the room, seeing that they probably wanted their privacy.
James kissed Jessie on the lips and then forced her to stop by cupping her chin in his hand. "Okay, okay Jess. Now what's going on that's made you so giddy?" Jessie pulled away from his grasp. She smiled at her lover and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Oh James. . . I love you."
"Jessie," James laughed,"I love you too. But please tell me what's going on here?. . . Oh no! . . . What did you buy?" he asked questioningly, pulling her arms away from his neck.
"Nothing James. I just love you, that's all. . . James? Remember when I said that I wanted to give that ankle bracelet to 'our' daughter someday?" she asked him, putting her arms around his neck again. James suddenly knew where this was all going. He instinctively put his arms around his wife's waist and gazed into her eyes, grinning ear to ear.
"James?!" Jessie chirped happily.
"Yes sweetheart?" he asked, waiting for her wonderful news.
"We're having twins!" Jessie smiled.
"WHAT?!" James shrieked, and then in a softer tone. "J-Jessie?
do y-mean that you. . ."
"Yes!" Jessie laughed through her tears.
"That I-I . . I. . ." *THUMP!*
"James! Wake up!" Jessie yelled, kneeling over her fainted husband.
Meowth raced in the room, Misty at his heels. "Whas goin on?!" Meowth screeched.
"I'm pregnant!" Jessie grinned, pulling the fainted James in her lap. Misty grinned eart to ear and Meowth's eyes widened in disbelief. "Oh! That's so romantic!" Misty swooned, clapping her hands and raising them to her cheek.
"What?! How did that happen?!!!" Meowth yelled.
"Well, when two people love each other very much, they decide
to-"
"Okay! Okay! Please!. . . Spare me da details!" Meowth closed
Jessie's snickering reply. . .

The little baby gently nuzzled it's head against her brother. She cooed and the baby boy did the same, repeating her actions and giggling at himself. Their mother delicately held them in her arms as their father gazed at them in wonder.
"Oh Jessie, look how perfect they are. I can't believe we created something so beautiful." the man spoke as he looked into his lover's eyes.
" James, I love you so much." the woman spoke; she was almost in tears. Jessie lifted her head up slightly and planted a kiss on her husband's cheek. "Do you want to hold your son?" she asked James lovingly. James nodded his head and Jessie gently handed him the small infant. He cupped the small child in his arm and rubbed his nose against his son's.
"Hello there little guy." James spoke tenderly. The little baby gurgled in delight and laughed at his father. The baby twitched his nose and gave a tiny sneeze. Then he looked up and saw a loose peice of hair that his father had and grabbed it quickly. He tugged and pulled as hard as he could.
James could feel the pain rising in his head, but barely. The child was so small and delicate that it hardly mattered. The baby continued to laugh and play with his new 'toy'.
"Shawn, don't hurt your daddy." Jessie playfully scolded him.
The baby laughed again and continued to pull at his father's hair. James ignored him and smiled at his beautiful wife. "So, what're you going to name that little one there?" he asked Jessie. She smiled and kissed her daughter's cheek. "Emily. Emily Marie and Shawn Jacob." she spoke tenderly, brushing her fingers against her son in James' arms.
Shawn stopped playing with his Daddy's hair and looked at his Mommy curiously. He made happy gurgling sounds and waved his arms, reaching for Jessie. He giggled as James placed him in his Mother's arms.
"Here, hold your daughter now." Jessie laughed, handing James Emily. He accepted her and rubbed his nose against her's. Emily yawned and rested her head on James' shoulder. "I love you Emily Marie." James sigheed, kissing his daughter's forehead. She smiled and closed her eyes, drifting off to sleep. James placed Emily down in her basinet, covering her with warm blankets and placing a small stuffed Pikachu under her arm. The baby hugged onto it tightly, even though she was asleep now.
James was startled when he heard Shawn whimper. "What's wrong with him?! Is everything alright?!" he asked impatiently, concern filling his voice. "It's okay James! He's just hungry, okay?" Jessie spoke calmly. James sighed a breath of relief. "Phew! Good. . ."
Jessie lifted her shirt and let the baby drink the warm milk that she offered him. "I love it when you do that." James smiled. Jessie looked up at him and grinned. "You pervert." she playfully scolded him. "I was just playing." he replied honestly. "I know." Jessie smiled and lifted her head up and kissed James passionately.
"I love it when you do that too." James grinned. Jessie gigled a lttle and continued to rock her baby back and forth. Jessie remembered a song that her mother had sang to her when she was little. She had always wanted to sing it to her child someday. . .
~Look at the crystal stars
They're shining above you.
The moon as white as an angel.
Just close your eyes and sleep in peace.
Dreaming of angels up above.~
Shawn was asleep now, and Jessie pulled her shirt back down over her bare chest. She stood up and handed James the little baby. James took him in his arms and kissed his forehead. "Good night son." he spoke lovingly, placing Shawn next to his sister in the basinet. He covered the baby with the blankets and let him grasp onto the stuffed Pikachu that Emily had, allowing them to share it.
Jessie rested her head on her husband's shoulder, gazing at their children with along with him. She kissed his cheek and James made a funny giggling sound. "What's so funny?" Jessie asked him amusingly. She looked at him questioningly and raised an eyebrow. "Well?" she prodded her nervous husband.
"I dunno. . . Jessie?" James asked her nervously.
"Yes dear?" she replied in interest.
"I. . .uh-I. . .do you think we. . . What I mean i-is. . ." He spoke nervously. Jessie smiled at him adoringly. He was just so darn cute when he was nervous! "Well, come out with it." she laughed. James sweatdropped and took a deep breath. "Jess, come with me."
Jessie nodded and walked with him out of the nursery. They entered their bedroom that they shared and sat down on the soft flannel bedspread. Meowth awoke from his slumber and was startled. "Huh? Whas goin on?" he asked curiously. "Nothing Meowth. . . Do you think you could leave my wife and I alone for a bit?" James softly asked him.
Meowth looked at the two back and forth. "Oh! I getcha!" he snickered and left the room. Jessie looked after him and then turned back to James once he was gone. "Okay James. What's going on?"
"Jessica," he spoke softly, taking her hands in his own. "I love you with all my heart and I want. . . I want you to have this." James grinned, taking a small box out of his pajama pants' pocket. Jessie gently took it from his hand and looked at it curiously. "What is it?" she asked him.
"Jess, do you remember our wedding night when you saw that small box on the bureau? . . . You wanted to see it so bad that you knocked me over, trying to get it?" James laughed a little and Jessie nodded. "Well, there it is. I bought it the day before the wedding. I was at the mall, picking up a tuxedo. I saw a jewelry store, and something told me to go to it. . . When I walked inside I saw something that aroused my attention. . . So I bought it. I didn't know why I bought it actually, something just told me to. . . But now I know why. . . Open it." He spoke softly.
Jessie opened the small box and inside was a locket. It was golden with a small heart shaped glistening ruby in the center. "James. . . it's beautiful." she spoke in awe. "Could you. . ."
"Of course dear." James answered, letting Jessie turn. He fastened the locket around her neck and smiled, seeing that it fit perfectly. "There ya go." he spoke tenderly and kissed her cheek. Jessie turned around and gently kissed her lover's lips. James broke the kiss cupping her chin in his hand.
"Open the locket." he spoke lovingly. Jessie nodded and opened the locket that hung on her delicate neck. On one side of the locket was a small photo of Shawn and the other side had a small photo of Emily. If you pryed the photos out of the locket, there would be a small lock of hair from each child. "Oh James. . ." Jessie whispered through her tears.
James brushed her tears away with his index finger. "I love you Jessica." he whispered lovingly into her ear. "I love you too James." Jessie answered, tenderly kissing his lips. "I love you. . . I love you." she repeated, continually kissing his lips as she ran her fingers through James' violet blue hair.
"Jessica, I want you to have this for the rest of your life.
And I 'will' be there to spend it with you. Like I've said before; for
all
Eternity. I promise. I love our children and I know you
and I will raise them to grow up into beautiful, respected adults. I'll
be with you forever. I love you." He spoke lovingly as he kissed her lips
again. "Oh James. . ." Jessie whispered through her joyful tears.
Jessie stopped for a moment and gazed into her lover's eyes. James gazed at his wife and wrapped his arms around her waist, gently lying her down. He kissed her lips again and she continued to whisper his name over and over and tell him that she loved him as he undressed himself and her. James and Jessie made love again that night, savoring the pleasure and peace that it brought them.
And they knew that they would truly spend, an Eternity Together.
The End
{(Author's note) Okay, I dunno if you liked it or not. I thought it was sweet. Not as good as 'Eternity' but I still loved it. Hope you did too! Any comments or whatever can be sent to me at [email protected]}
