I just recently cut these fenders, my first try..
Catastophe
Well, to make a long story short, the two bolts
pictured backed out while trail riding (beating the living piss outta it),
and then caused the sprocket to come off the
flange, and one of the flange ears to be ripped off.
Now when i had it fixed at the dealer i bought
it from, the technitian that worked on it,
left that broken off tab in my bottom end....
It got ALOT worse after that.
Ended up tearing up my clutch basket, which
they replaced, but then when I went in
to the shop to talk to them about the main bearing,
the totally shot me down.
That tab just below the flange, thats what got
caught imbetween the basket and sidecover, chewed it up pretty bad...
Heres the Main Bearing...
All the shavings from that basket went right
into the main.
