Section A:
Marilyn Manson is an Anti-Christ Superstar that has blown the world upside down with his music and his actions. Marilyn Manson is a screen name that Brian Hugh Warner uses. The name Marilyn Manson was chosen by way of Brian Warner's view of pop cultures fascination with celebrity icons. He believes that all mankind has a positive and negative side to their personality. He chose the name of Marilyn from the name of Marilyn Monroe to promote the positive side and the name Manson from Charles Manson to promote the negative side. He says that everyone likes Marilyn Monroe for all the positive things that she has done, but she also had a negative, or dark side. The same idea is true with Charles Manson while having a negative or bad side, he also has a positive or good side. Brian Warner was born on January 5th 1969 in Canton, Ohio. He lived at 1420 35th Street from when he was a baby to when he turned 15, at which time he moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Marilyn Manson has had a lot of help with talents that he was born with. Since the time he was 12, Marilyn was writing stories and poems and sending them to every newspaper from Playboy to Creem Magazine, but all he received were rejection letters. Marilyn started to read some of his poems at an open mic. at a local bar. Not many people came to listen to his poems, and the ones who did came to hear his voice rather than his poems. The regular listeners told him that his voice was exceptional but his writing was insuffficent. With that in mind, he turned most of his poems into songs that he now sings. Marilyn Manson has captured the lives of many people and showed them a world that they would have never know if he had not come along.
There were many people in Brian Warners life that shaped and moulded him into the person he is today. Brian Warner grew up with two loving parents, Hugh and Barb Warner. Brian spent most of his time around his parents, grandparents, and some of his friends. His mother was a nurse who helped Brian with many health problems that he use to have. His father was a helicopter Mechanic in Vietnam and after the war he had many different jobs that did not last long. Since then Brian and his father had a lot in common but never expressed their feelings towards each other. The two people that were the most influential on Brian were his grandmother and grandfather. His grandmother came from a rich family but she was stingy with her money, did not like spending money, which kept Brian skinny for so long. His grandfather, who was a pornoholic, with many fetishes that he kept in the basement of his house. His fetishes scarred Brains personality forever. Brian Grew up with his best friend, which was his cousin , Chad. They grew up surrounded by their grandmothers Broth and Jell-O, which was stuffed down their throats, and investigating their Grandfathers basement, and looking for all the horrific things they could find. The things that they found in the basement scared them, as a result they developed personalities opposite to their grandfathers personality. Maybe the people who they were around when they were growing scared the boys too much and pushed Marilyn and Chad over the edge.
The people closest to Marilyn Manson had the biggest impact on this life, both if positively or neagitively. Brians mother had a big impact on his life she was crazy She has mice and she talks to them, and she wakes up in the middle of the night and she has visions of people standing at the foot of her bed- demons and stuff like that. His father tried to be the best person he could be, but he was not a very nice person to begin with, Although I had so much in common with my father, I never wanted to admit it. Most of my child hood and adolescence was spent in fear of him. He constantly threatened to kick me out of the house and never failed to remind me that I was worthless and would never amount to anything. Whenever Brian was over at his grandmothers house she would teach him lessons that she thought were supposed to be practised by every family. When Brian or Chad would goof off or talk back to her she punished them, but in an odd way, ...we were forced to kneel on a broom stick in the kitchen for anywhere from fifteen minutes to an hour, which resulted in perpetually bruised and scabbed knees.. The one and only person who left the biggest impression on Marilyns life was his grandfather with his perverted mind and cellar, that has kept Marilyn scared and scarred. Marilyn Manson did not have very many good impacts on his life, most of them were really horrible role models and probably caused him to be where he is today, and pushed him towards his current lifestyle.

Marilyn Manson chose a career that many people try at but do not succeed. He had a few major accomplishments in his career which included (at a younger time he made) his first band called Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids. He was the singer in that band and in the band to follow which was just called, Marilyn Manson. Along with singing he played the guitar. Another one of his accomplishments was getting one of his poems published in a small newspaper which gave him the confidence to make the band. Some of the problems Marilyn Manson encountered in his life was rejection letters from all different magazines and newspapers. Later on in life when people started to discriminate him on the way he dressed and on his actions just because they were not normal for that time. Marilyn Mansons greatest disappointment was the hundreds of rejection letters from every magazine and newspaper know, but to everyone's dismay this helped him in the long run. Everyone saying that they were not good enough that is what fuelled his fire to show them wrong; that was his new meaning in life. Marilyn Manson, like everyone, had role models and people that he looked up to. One was the devil which was introduced to him at a young age and who he respected since then. He looked up to Ozzy Osborne who paved the way so that everyone would be more appartment to understand Marilyn Manson. He is one of the most misunderstood people in the world. He has many secrets and many hidden things that nobody knows about, so does everybody, but the difference is, not everyone will accept him if they don't know him. So with his seven books he will try to get people to know him better.
Marilyn Manson has had choices that wouldnt just affect him but everyone around him and this would make people judge him on what they see. The choices are things that many people would not even dream of having. He sold his soul to the devil and has on his own personal web site; something where you can give your soul to the devil. He is flaunting to people that he is happy about selling his soul. That affects everybody who hes near and I believe that, that is something that you shouldn't even be thinking about. Its not yours to give. He does things that make the public fringe and think of him as a disgusting person, but really he only does it for the publicity like when he made a pinata and filled it with cow brains, chicken livers, pig intestines and a disembowelled donkey. Marilyn Manson got what he wished for at the beginning of his career, which was to have a positive as well as a negative side to his life. He has totally changed the whole record business world. He has done it in a way that many people will not think of him as an entrepreneurs but more of a freak. His parents and grandparents might have pushed him a bit but he chose to do the rest by himself, He shall reap what he hast sowed. Marilyn Manson has had a bad rap for many years and all he wants is to show that he can make something of himself.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Section C:
Marilyn Manson has attained many different things from this book (The Long Road Out Of Hell). The success and publicity he wanted and the belief that he has succeeded in life. The publicity he received was both negative in the way that it was unconventional and many people disliked the things that he did on stage. And positive in the way that many people have come out of their shell and showed themselves their true lives. The book is something that each person can interpret differently. Everything in life is one sided and this book is not an exception. This book is portrayed in such a way to show that Manson is a victim and his parents are to be blamed for his behavoir. However, from everything that is shown here, everyone can make their own decisions. Marilyn Manson had a troubled childhood that distorted his way of thinking, which has led him to a disturbing, successful life in the music world.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Obituary:
Brian Warner (Marilyn Manson) had a long and abnormal life. Brian had two choices in life, two roads to choose from the usual trail marked road and the unused and uncharted one. He chose the road none travelled. Brian met many people in his life and suffered from many types of discrimination, but all of that made him an all round person. Brian accomplished many things in his life including changing the face of the music world forever and opening their arms to new and stronger talent. Brian is one of the most original people. Made By Keith Hamilton When he was younger he got pushed and bullied and then at the age of seventeen, he sold his soul to the devil. From that point on all he did was change people and their views on life. Brian, if youre listening you would want me to say this: the world has lost both a loved and hated man but, Hell has just gained a wicked new Leader rest in hell (R.I.H). |
