Scene One

(Robbie Lying on his bed after a short afternoon nap,it is a friday evening and it�s late in the year, he is in his apartment number 441 with the blankets half covering him, he gets up walks around his room turns on his music, rock blasts out of the stereo while he put on his baggy jeans and baggy t-shirt he flicks a switch and the music is blasting in the whole house and he goes to turn it down when the telephone rings. It rings 3 times then the awnsering machine goes on and Robbie turns down the music.)
Robbie - (Awnsering Machine) Yo I can�t get around to picking up the phone but
leave a message so I if I feel like it I can call you back.
Female Voice - (Talking with music in the background)Where are you I have been
waiting for you to get down here so we can go. Get your ass down here
(Kissing Sound)!
(Robbie goes into the bathroom brushes his teeth, wets and gel's his hair and picks up his car keys wallet and apartment keys out of yesterday pair of jeans and picks up a breakfast bar opens and closes the door, when he gets out of the apartment he locks the two dead bolts he has and then heads for the elevators. Presses the button, and waits a bit and the doors open as he steps in he looks up)
Robbie - Hi, Jessica you couldn�t wait a couple seconds I was just coming down
Jessica - (Large Smile) You like my message, I didn�t want to have to wait to see you
anymore.
Robbie - (Sarcastically) Loved it, (Laphed) You Look fantastic, almost like we were
doing something today
Jessica - Oh Did you forget already, well your in for a treat
(Jessica is wearing a red dress with heels she puts out her hand and takes his hand with hers and presses Lobby floor button and everything faded out)

Scene Two

(Robbie�s car stops Jessica turns off the car and puts the keys in his hands)
Robbie - (Naggingly) Can I open my eyes yet, I already know its a surprise
Jessica - (Joking) Know it all
Robbie - (Retorting) No Im not young enough to be a know it all anymore
Jessica - Well, Just shut up and keep your eyes closed
(Jessica gets out of the car pushes her dress down and goes around the front of the car to open the other side of the door and grabs a hold of him by the arm and lifts him out of the car, walks with him until she gets to a swinging door pushes it open and Jessica pulls Robbie through and sits him down at a table. There is mindless chatter around and indistinct whispering from the table, Jessica goes behind Robbie and she unities his blind fold)
Crowed - SURPRISE!
(Some of the people jumping)
Crowed - Happy Birthday!
Robbie - Aw, You Shouldn�t have
Jessica - I knew you�d say that why don't you think that I had one for you
Robbie - No you really shouldn�t have it�s not my birthday. (Looking At everyones
surprised expressions then laphing) Just kidding, Thanks a lot baby you make
me so happy
Jessica - I know baby but it is your 19 birthday and that is something special, One year
away from your parents, Two years with me
Robbie - But you know you shouldn't have right, (Raising his voice) all of you shouldn�t
have, I�m just a mere petty toy that god likes to play with once every while. And
this is one of those times (People start laphing) Ok everyone lets have a good
time
Jessica - Ok, but I get the first and last dance (She says while smiling)
Robbie - (Takes a deep breath in then ex hails) Cant promise anything at this point in
time (Takes a second to laph, and starts to roam the room) Hey so hows
Dizele (D�L)
Ashley - Hey come over after your done here (As she winks)
Dizele - Not bad, how�s the monogamy, worth it I gather (Laphing)
Robbie - The only reason that I want to be with her is because she's the one.
Dizele - O is that the way it�s happening well man I�m gonna go and get my eye on a
bunch of hotties maybe find one too.
Robbie - what you mean longer than one night if theres one thing that ive learned its that
women have a wonderful instinct about things. They can discover everything
except the obvious, so you might be able to score, (Laphing while he starts to
walk again) Lader
(Iris the first slow song starts of the night and Robbie looks around looking for Jessica he finds her and they both lock eyes and walk together for the first dance)
Jessica - (First looks strait into his eyes then puts her head on his sholder and
whispers) I knew that you were irristable to my beauty
Robbie - (Smiling and moving away from her to look into her eyes) Or that what I
want you to think.
Jessica - Really, is that what you believe (Asking with sad eyes)
Robbie - (Robbie stopped dancing and told her as heartfelt as possible) I would
rather have 15 minutes with you, than a lifetime of nothing special.(They finish
the dance in silence with Jessica�s head on Robbie)
(The song finishes and Robbie kisses Jessica and starts to walk around says hi to a couple people but nothing big, until he spots Ashley and Faith they both started walking over to Robbie while he started walking toward them)
Ashley - (While giving him a hug) Happy Birthday, how does it feel? So much different
right (Smiles).
Faith - Ya, like of course like you know, like that he's this big shot Collage boy with
like, (deeper voice) uh no future, and no life.
Robbie - Reality and life are not the same. Your reality and my life they are completely
different. Some days are made for rain to show the world that not everything is
perfect, you were born on one of thoes days. (Says with a smirk) but you
know what... I still don't care for you that much.
(The Night goes on and everything happens really quickly Robbie plays a few games with some friends there, Robbie drives Jessica, Ashley, Faith and Dizele home in his yellow Cheverolate Corvette Convertible, with loud rock music playing and everything dims out)

Scene 3

(Robbie wakes up early the next day, some time around noon because of his alarm clock, he turns it off looks beside him and sees a figure under the bed he pulls it out and its a blow up doll with a card glued to it Robbie opens the card and it says �Glad your home safe I hope you like it since I know that you don�t want to have sex till you get the results back for both of us, I hope she will help you will all your desires :) Love Jessica�. He smiles, gets up and turns on his music until there is a knock on his door. In his boxers he goes through his bedroom the hallway and turns right towards the door, the knocking is more persistent, he looks through the peep hole and he has a frightened look on his face. Robbie takes the two dead bolts off, the one chain alarm off and unlocks the key hole for the door and turning pitch white with disbelief he opens the door)
A woman - (Perky) I knew I would catch you here, how is everything Mr. Sullivan, I
need to talk to you, its about your friend Faith Pollock.
Robbie - (Stunned)Miss. Taylor, if you need to talk to me then talk to me before or
after class, your my teacher you don't need to know where I live, you
shouldn�t know where I live. But since your here what's wrong with Faith
Miss Taylor - (Discontent) She handed in her last assignment yesterday, about things
you want and well what i read had really really scared me. She talked
about hating Jessica enough to kill her, because she wanted to go out with
you.
Robbie - Shouldn�t you have told anyone about this, Like the cops!
Miss Taylor - I wanted to talk to you first maybe you could give me some more insight to
whatever is happening to her and you
Robbie - Ok look nothing is happening with us she is a dreamer and what she
dreams is that we are having something that's not there
Miss Taylor -(Looking around) Do you think you let me in I don�t feel comfortable out
here in the hall way
Robbie - (Starting to get angry)Why, you are not staying long, (Looking up to left
hand side of the hall, then closes eyes) Fine, come in but only for a minute
Miss Taylor - Thank you
(He opens the door to her and lets her walk in, she takes off her shoes and looks at him from head to toe, he walks her into the living room and picks up a few things that's on the couch other than a few things around Robbie�s home is very clean, he picks up a t-shirt and puts it on)
Robbie - (Half asleep) I will be back in a second
Miss Taylor - O.k (Then Smiles)
(Robbie walks into his bedroom turns down his music and flicks the switch so that the whole apartment would fill with music, and picks up a pair of jeans puts them on goes to the bathroom brushes his teeth and comes back out in to the living room and walks into the kitchen)
Robbie - Would you like something to drink
Miss Taylor - Yes, Please can I have some Coffee
Robbie - (Tired) About the subject, imagination is more important than
knowledge.Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world. Albert
Einstine said that and wouldn�t you think that's so true its probably just a
joke she make up to screw with every bodies mind. Milk, Sugar?
(Robbie says the last line as he pours a glass of coffee for Miss Taylor, and a glass of Orange Juice for himself)
Miss Taylor - Black, Please
Robbie - O.k
(Robbie walks them both over and gives the coffee to her and takes a sip of the orange juice)
Robbie - I want to get this over with right now I�m going to call her and figure this
whole thing out
(Robbie picks up the phone, there is no dial tone)
Robbie - There�s no dial tone
Miss Taylor - What's that?
Robbie - There�s no dial tone, the phone dosn't work
Miss Taylor - (Surprised) Oh my gosh.
Robbie - well its all right I�ll just get my cell phone, no big deal
Miss Taylor - (Smiling) I guess I�ll just sit right here
(By: Keith HamiltonRobbie walks out of the room and Miss Taylor�s face went grim, like something was planned. Robbie walks back into the room and Miss Taylor�s face went content again. Robbie dialed Faiths number.)
Faith - (Unhappily) Buzz Off
Robbie - Hi, it�s..
Faith - (Happily) ROBBIE. You know, like how are you?
Robbie - Im good but I have a problem, I was wondering if you handed your assignment
in?
Faith - Like, Of course I did why are you asking?
Robbie - Well I was wondering what you did the assignment on?
Faith - (Lower voice) Why?
Robbie - Because I was wondering
Faith - (Snappy) It dosnt matter
Robbie - (Replying) Yes it does, what did you write about?
Faith - Why don't I come over and we can talk about it
Robbie - Fine get over here.
(Robbie turns off the cell and he looks back over to Miss Taylor he looked strait at her, and then he looked down at the coffee she looked different some how, she uncrossed and then crossed her legs and had her index finger half in her mouth lightly biting, and using her tongue as well)
Robbie - (Turns Away from her) She's coming over right now.
Miss Taylor - Who? Faith
Robbie - Yes
Miss Taylor - Do you want me to be there when she gets here?
Robbie - (Annoyed) I want to clear this up right now
(Robbie gets up and gets Miss Taylor another coffee while he thinks what she was doing before and he falls into a dream about Jessica while he was glancing at her picture on the fridge)
Miss Taylor - (Indistnctly then becomes more and more clear as he gets out of the
dream) Robbie, Robbie? Are you gonna get that?
(Robbie looks around then hears the door bell he walks over to the door and opens it, Faith just blows by without Robbie does as much as says a word, she looks at Miss Taylor, then looks back at Robbie with a disgusted look)
Faith - Before we start I like, (Pointing her head at Miss Taylor) we need to
talk
Robbie - (He rolls his eyes) Fine, Miss Taylor we will be back in a minute
Miss Taylor - (Smiling)Call Me Mary
(Robbie hands Mary her coffee and looks at Faith while they walk out, we walk in to the other room Robbie goes over and goes to change his shirt to one that wasn�t so old, to one of the one Jessica bought him)
Faith - (Turned to watch) What The Hell is Miss Taylor, Mary doing here at your
house
Robbie - That's why I called you over?
Faith - (Angry) So tell me now that I�m here?
Robbie - Come back out and figure out so we can clear it up
Faith - I�m not going back in there with her. SHE�S IN YOUR HOUSE, Do you
understand that
Robbie - Yes I do and I think that this is very important and that�s why I don't mind
anymore
(Faith Leave the conversation, by this time Robbie has his shirt back on and followed her back into the living room Faith takes the chair half in front of Mary, and Robbie is forced to sit beside Mary, and it being a love seat there is not much room between them)
Faith - Why don't we just get this over with, why are you asking questions about my
assignment, have you read it, either of you?
Mary - I have
Robbie - (Cutting off Mary) I havn�t
Faith - It has you in it Robbie, I�ll give you an example its noting serious The shackled
anger I am accustomed to is reflecting on myself and with every tear there are a
thousand more that need to follow so I may climb from the darkness
Robbie - That has nothing to do with me
Mary - If I may (Picking up a piece of paper) �I tell you I love you, you can�t love
what I see, the mirror tells lies, reflects to you want must be. It makes you
distrust me, you can�t even trust you, your doubt won�t believe, so it kills what
is true� If you can�t gather she's talking about you.
Robbie - (Sarcastically) Thanks, I couldn�t gather that much, Why are you writing about me?
Faith - I love you
Robbie - (Questionable) But you hate me!
Faith - I don�t know what to do with the feelings so I show hatred
Robbie - Don�t say that, you just want to be with me becuase im with Jessica
Faith - Why do you think that way? Your better than Jessica
Robbie - I Love Her, (Starting to cry) I LOVE HER
Mary - (While taking Robbie�s hand) Dont worry it will all be ok.
(The door bell rings and Faith gets up to get it Robbie is still holding Mary�s hand he is still crying)
Faith - (Speaking Pearkly, while skipping) I�ll get it
(She opens the door, and before she can look in a hand smashes the door open it is Dizele he looked at Mary and looked at Robbie holding her hand and Faith with a great big grin on her face)
Dizele - (Angrly) What the hell is going on here!
