Blatant is a local Las Vegas Thrash Band Looking to play shows. They were formed by guitarist Brendan Shea and drummer Eddie Montejo. Later were joined by guitarist Ginno Sanchez and bassist Tobi Mishel.
Eddie and Brendan were in a punk band called the Kavarones before starting Blatant. Ginno and Tobi also were starting a punk band, but they had no drummer. Tobi and Ginno met Brendan through his older brother Kevin. Kevin went to the same high school with Ginno and Tobi.
When they finally met Eddie, they started to practice. The first song that actually sounded good was Thrash. They are writing new material and are looking to play shows.

Sorry for the last one. That was Ginno's fault. He is a dumb, smelly, stupid eskimo. Anyways, "Blatant" is hopefully the next big thing in METAL. We are sick of Emo, agro-metal(nu), rap metal, and all of the other so called "metal bands." Our music is influenced by everything from PUNK to DEATH METAL. Our influences include the Ramones, Slayer, Megadeth, etc. We are firm believers in music with attitude, integrity, and musicianship. We are tired of all the good bands being overshadowded by the likes of Blink 182 and Korn and all that other stupid shit . Don't get us wrong, we like soft stuff too. Just as long as it is respectable. We dont like over produced rock. These days any idiot can start a band and get famous just as long as they go with the trends. We are the oppositeof those people, they can suck my dick. We are here for all the people who miss real music. Support us and you wont be sorry.
