| My Philosophy |
Everyone has a different philosophy and some people may believe the same thing. I'm a Christian and I believe all of the things that go along with being a Christian. I believe God is coming back and that day isn't all that far away. There are a couple of verse's that I try to live my life by, the first one is Ecclesiastes 3:11 it says, “He has made everything beautiful in its time, he has also set eternity in the hearts of men, yet they can not fathom what he has done from beginning to end.” The reason that I try and live my life by this is because I used to always put myself down by saying I'm ugly or I'm fat. Every time I would say this I would gain weight or get more acne, so I try to stop saying these things and every time I think them I recite Ecclesiastes 3:11, and I stop thinking them. All of my friends who hang out with me a lot know that if they say that they are ugly or fat that I will tell them this verse because I believe that it is true and since I wont allow myself to call my self names and put me down I wont allow them to do that to themselves either. I am constantly saying this verse to my friends because NO ONE is ugly. God made you the way you are and he loves you no matter what, and guess what so do I. Everyone is the way God wanted them to be, no matter if your 2,000 lbs. or 10 lbs. he still loves you the same, as well as if you're White, African American, Asian, Hispanic, or any other race. He made you and he loves you just the way you are. Some people may disagree with all of this that I am saying, and by all means they can. This is my philosophy not theirs. The other verse that I like to live by is Proverbs 8:35-36, which says, “For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the Lord, but whoever fails to find me harms himself, all who hate me loves death.” I chose this bible verse because I used to do a lot of other things, like I used to be into Wicca, it's a type of witchcraft. So anytime I think about going and doing something with them I always keep this verse in mind. Church is by far the most important thing in my life I love God and I know that he loves me too. Most of the people I am friends with are all found at my church. One thing I really try to do constantly is get closer to God. So just about every time the church doors open I try to be there just to be closer to Him. He is so important in my life. Just a year ago I was into Wicca and drugs and alcohol, but when my friend Whitney invited me to church to meet her boyfriend. We'll from that it is history, because I have been going ever since that one Wednesday, and I love this church. They are my home away from home. |
