| 360 CID bore +.030--KB 190 pistons, heads milled to fit pistons, Mopar Performance Purple Cam with matching springs and lifters. (thats all you need to know on the cam) total compression is 10.5/1 I run a Jacobs Pro-Street ignition system with a up-hill power modual, aided by a Mopar chrome box. Edelbrock Performer intake with a Quadrajet carb. Accell 8.8 wires. Fuel delievery has been converted to in the tank electronic fuel pump with a Summitt Racing fuel pressure regulator. An oil cooler has been added to keep it cool. I have also upgraded the raidiator and added a flex fan. Total output is about 410 HP. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| BEHIND THE MOTOR | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Off the back of the motor we run to a custom built high stall torque converter which runs into a 727A- Police Inticeptor Transmission which has been built by Bob Cat Racing Transmissions. This tranny runs 8 forward performance cluches and two early servos, controlled by a BG shift kit. Connecting into a NP 208 Transfer case also built by Bob Cat. All power is transfered to to drive lines built by Six States Distributing in SLC, UT. using only Dana/Spicer parts. I controll the shifting with a Hurst V-Matic Shiftier. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| TO THE GROUND | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| From the drive lines we run to a Dana 60 3/4 ton full floating rear axle, holding 4:10/1 gears and a Lock-Rite No Slip Locker (this is not the plain ol Lock Rite it is ther upgraded one). In the front I run a Dana 44 3/4 ton equiped with the same as the rear. I run 33x12.50/16.5 Mud King tires on American Racing directional rims. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| THE LIFT | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| In order for things not to rub we need to go up. I run a 4" Warn Black Diamond Lift, I wanted the strongest lift, not the softest or the one with the most flex, This lift is awsome, as you can tell by the photos, I am very hard on it and have not had any major problems. I use the Black Diamond XT shocks, a Skyjacker lifted pitman arm and a Black Diamond stearing stabalizer. Unfortunatly not everyone thinks the same as me, Warn is sellling off its Black Diamond line, when I talked to the company they said there were not making enough money off this line. In my oppinion everyone wants the flex, then they wonder why things break!! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ON THE INSIDE | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The inside of the truck is not pretty but it is not thrashed and it works for me, I have a Grant GT stearing wheel, Gages, including a digital RPM, a very loud stereo system, CB, Fire extiguisher's (I have three kids, you can never have to many of these) and a Roll Bar. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| EXTRAS | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| On the top of the truck we have a roof rack which me and my clubs VP made, 2 KC 6x9 lights, two KC 4x3 light's and a Whalen 4 rotater light bar, (I was going to do some pilot car but changed my mind, besides it looks cool). And no truck is compleet with out a hitch. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
