update

If you watched the Royal Rumble last night then you know what I'm talking about. It started with Matt Hardy facing the Undertaker. Matt was giving taker a beating, but undertaker managed to get in a few moves himself before Jeff came running out from backstage as the two minutes ended. It was a touching moment when Matt and Jeff hugged in the middle of the ring, and then continued with the beating to the Undertaker, even doing poetry in motion! But the Undertaker did get the best of them, throwing them out of the ring, but to no avail, Matt and Jeff returned for their revenge, getting in a few more kicks before being thrown from the ring again. They may not have won the Royal Rumble, but team extreme has united once again, so expect alot from them in the future! Hardy fans, relax, Team extreme is back in a big way! Oh, and by the way, from what I can tell, Jeff's hair is now a lovely shade of pink. Just thought you'd like to know.

djNote: After checking the WWF site this morning, I found a wonderful article on the boys, explaining why they were gone for such a long time, and why they got back together. The main story is Team extreme needed a break from the road badly, and felt they needed some time at home doing normal things. All of the rumors you may have heard on other sites are false, they just needed a break. They also felt they had nothing new to present to the fans because they had wrestled virtually everyone in the federation, and needed to give some time for new tag teams to be established for other compatition. It also gave them some time to get creative and get new ideas for upcomming matches. They realised , as did the WWF that the fans were not at all excited at the idea of Team Extreme breaking up, and decided that it was best for them to stay together at the moment. They guys say that they could feel that the fans were not happy, and were not at all excited by their singles matches, and were overall very quiet when matches were going on. Matt and Jeff are happy to hear the fans screaming again, and now feel rested and ready to get back to what they love. For the full article, check it out at WWF.com.
