ENGINE
The one modification that empressed me the most was the weber carb. Project yj was on 33's at the time and running stock gears. Before the carb the stock 4.0 lacked the power to move a a comfortable speed, and never was able to get into 5th gear. now with the carb the jeep will do burnouts down the street.
Like I said this impressed me very much.
   Weber choose to sponser us in this project and did the install on the jeep. The carb that was put on the jeep was webbers 38mm.
Many different jettings were tested to see which worked best for this application. The jetting they ended up with was a
         The carb was then tuned by the profesonals and weber carburator. Now The reason the weber makes so much power is the primarys and secondarys open at the same time. Now this may loose its power in the high RPMs but were not racing a 1/4 mile. Here in southern california you race from one red light to the next, which could be 50 yards were We live.

    Weber sells this carb for recreational use only, which means it is now smog legal in california.
   With the carb a custom air filter was put on.
As for the rest of the engine upgrades we will be installing a header and new muffler, then back to weber for re-jeting, and tuning.
