Jeeps + More Modifications = More Flex
Since the last trip we have done a few more modifications to our jeeps. First , Josh's TJ got longer shocks and a lincon locker in the rear. (check it out it tech section) My XJ got new Rubicon Express 4.5" lift spring packs and RE long travel slip yoke. Then to top it off I got brand new revolver shackles to give the rear more droop. Finally new SSR's and rims . This is the results!

The shocks that came with the rubicon 4.5" lift were to short . So we put a pair of longer RS 9000's on.
Around the stairs are deep holes which have bee dug out by the number of people who come to this place. Before the lincon locker josh would loose tractionand stop his forward movement. With the locker he regains the lost traction and climbs right to the top.
The new springs and shackels worked great except for one thing, the shocks were to short. I modified the break lines and put on the new slip yoke and both allowed tones of travle.
The new super swampers were a bit larger than my old BFG's I relized as they folded my fender in half. So now I'm in need of more fender trimming.
The tires help with the traction part, and the revolvers deffinitly work great. If you are interested in revlovers check out Trailquest at www.trailquest.com they were far cheaper than anyone else.
