Miller Jeep Trail
The weekend started out on friday after eveyone was off work. The long drive through L.A. got us at Hungry Valley OHV park after dark.  This trip again only consisted of Steve, John, Josh and his lovely girlfriend Grace, Me , and my brother Jeff.
So after setting up camp at the base of the Hungry Valley off road safty cource in the dark we went to bed to get rest for the trail.
So gased up and on our way to the trail head  the next mourning we were flaged down by two other jeepers who told us the gates were locked and there was no way around it. So with no other choice we followed them to the ranger station were we found other clubs in the same situation. after talking to the ranger we found out this was the first day the trail would be open. So after a 1/2 hour wait we were back at the trail head airing down and waiting for the arival of the ranger to open the gate.
The trail starts at Lockwood Creek . The lockwood Creek trail begins with a gnarly climb which was tough for the open rigs. the rest of the trail was steep switchback through the woods and down into a valley where there are a few camp grounds. the original plan was to camp there and run Miller in the mourning, but we arived there at about 12:30 and not wanting to sit around the rest of the day we decided to run the rest after lunch.
