BIG BEAR 2001
For a well deserved Labor Day weekend off Josh, Matt, and I went up to Big Bear to do a little wheelin. We left saturday afternoon and went to my girlfriends parents cabin in sugerloaf. We then left sunday morning to hit the trails. The trails we ran were first John Bull, and then Holocomb Creek. When we got to John Bull it started to rain, so not wanting to be caught in a rain storm we got right on the trail. The rain made the rocks a bit slippery but also kept the dust down. We all made it out just fine. Then we headed to the trail head of holocomb creek trail. We had lunch and began. In the first rock garden, Matt went a little to throttle happy, and some how maneged to snap his steel lift block in half. So he had to baby it out of the trail. The only other damage happend to me on the way home on monday. My rear U-jouint gave out and broke on the toll road. I was then towed home. 90$ for the tow and 8$ for the Joint, and Blocks not worth 10$, I would say the weekend went real well. Hears some pictures to enjoy!
