Project Willys
Part 3
The new frame allowed us to do many thing the old frame could not. First the new frame will let us run a bigger engine then the buick 225 we were going to run. Since we sold the 350 out of the blazer to a friend,we were in the market for a new engine. The new frame also streched the wheel base to 100". better for the 38" boggers we are planing to run. Now the body must be streched to fill the frame.. If it sounds like a lot of work it's because it is . But that's the fun of building a project jeep

The Rover frame had a long tounge off the bask to hold the gas tank and trailer hitch. We cut that off so when we move the tub back and put the 38's on we will have a negative departure angle.
