Weekends are the best for our band because our members can make it to the coast more easily from their homes in the Willamette Valley. We had a great gang this year, and the Stars and Stripes were more patriotic than in any years past. Shortly after the parade, we had to say goodbye to our tricycle, after using it only three years in our band. Although it made a great prop, it took a lot of space to store it through the year.
Okay, okay... we aren't really trying to scare our fans with the (funny) bunny face. But there's a story behind it. But first: the one in clown hat is our youngest tooter. He may not have memories of our band in these years, but he'll grow up to be a real patriot.

Now for the story. The young man, shy in his adolescence, wanted to be incognito. Fortunately, we had, in out Halloween supplies, a mask. Just one. A witch's mask. So we painted a flag on the cheek and put it together with the Easter Bunny costume and - voila! - the most frightening friendly face in the band.
