Over a million people a year are either diagnosed with cancer or die from it.� This disease does not discriminate, it affects men and women, black and white, young and old....and it affects our children.� The RNR members know first hand what it feels like when a child dies from this disease.� Amanda Cassell, who was the three-year-old daughter of one of our alumni members, died 8 months after being diagnosed with Brainstem Glioma, which is an extremely aggressive form of brain cancer.�� Then Carol, our director was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer.� It is the goal of this group to help as much as we can to contribute to the cure of this terrifying disease.
