| Bachography Sebastian Phillip Bierk was born in Freeport located in the Bahamas, on April 4 1968. Sebastian grew up in Canada, where he lived with his mother and his father, a well known Canadian artist. Sebastian is the oldest of three children; he has one brother (Zak) and one sister (Heather Dylan). Sebastian has known from a very young age that he wanted to be a Rock Star; he attributes his love of music to such great bands as KISS, CHEAP TRICK, JUDIEST PRIEST, TERRIBLE TED NUGENT and many more. Everyone who had known Sebastian knew he was destine for greatness! At the young age of 15, Sebastian could no longer deny his love of music, so he picked up and moved to Toronto (Canada). Where he survived anyway he could, he hooked up with Madame X and Kid Wikkid a couple of local Canadian bands for whom he sung lead vocals. At one point there was a New York photographer named Mark Weiss, who caught one of Sebastian gigs at a local nightclub, he was impressed by what he saw, Sebastian had a style all his own. Not to long after that Mark dropped Sebastians name to a Struggling local New Jersey band named Skid Row, the band had been looking for front man that had the intestinal fortitude the band had previously lacked. A few weeks later they gave Sebastian a call and sent him a demo of some of the bands songs, Sebastian was blown away by the lyrics of 18 and life. Sebastian has always been about making great Rock & Roll music, he has never claimed that he was the greatest songwriter; however he knew that he was the future of Rock & Roll! *1989-Skid Row released their self titled debut album, it was an extraordinary hit, among fans and critics the same. The album transcended new bounds in the world of rock & roll. Due to such great hits as, youth gone wild, I remember you and 18 and life. Due to his abundance of energy and charisma, Sebastian became the most recognized member of the band. It seemed that every magazine article started with the name Sebastian Bach. He had proven to be a well respected front man. Skid Rows success continued with Sebastian heading up the band, they released several subsequent albums in 1991 & 1992. First of which being, Slave to the Grind and then Beside Ourselves. Followed by Subhuman Race, the last album they would ever record together (in the U.S) Although there had been rumors of creative differences running through the band, everyone stuck it out until it all blew up in 1996, when Bach was asked to remake the hit schools out, made famous by shock rocker Alice Cooper. For the hit horror movie Scream. When Bazs band mates opted not to cut the song, he had but only one choice, He put together The Last Hard men, consisting of friends and former band mates, the line up consisted of Breeders guitarist Kelley Deal, guitarist Jimmy Flemion and smashing pumpkins drummer Jimmy Chamberlin. That was the beginning of Sebastians solo career. (Bach reveled to writer Geri Miller in an article written in Metal Edge magazine (quote) Im into it (referring to skid row) but I dont talk to those guys, I havent seen them. We did those gigs in south America and that was it for 96.Thats the way it is, I had a lot of input on the first two albums and there were good albums, but Ive less and less of a say in skid row as time has gone on, I was out voted on my dislike of their choice for the subhuman race cover and my desire to maintain the bands fan club. Its a democracy. But the fights that go on are ridiculous. So now I sit back and wait for them to call me, last month (March 1997) they sent me a tape with music, no lyrics. Sebastian however noted they were supposed to be recording a year ago. I love skid Row and I would never quit the band but there is so much time that I have spent sitting around and waiting, and I cant do that, I told Snake (Sabo) when I first met him that I cannot sit around and twiddle my thumbs, I have to keep moving, exclaimed Bach.) The tensions between Bach and Skid Row band members came to a head when the band was asked to open for the greatest band in the world, KISS. And again the guys chose not to do it, this pissed Sebastian Off, in what lead to the end of skid row (as we know it). Sebastian called and left a few nasty messages on the guys machines, Rachel was preoccupied with his punk band side project, and wasnt interested in opening for kiss, and in Sebastians own words he said that just wasnt a good enough reason for me, and I let him (Rachel) know it in no uncertain terms. And a few days later Sebastian was asked to leave the band, not to long after Rob Affuso was also asked to leave. All in all in was a great move on Sebastians part, he is now free to make the music he wants to make without being held back by other peoples wants and needs. Its all about Baz now, the way it should be!! 1996 Sebastian got together with Kelley Deal, guitarest Jimmy Flemion, and drummer Jimmy Chambelin. 1998 was the bigining of Sebastian's BEBA (bring em back alive.) His solo career was up and running. It was a huge hit with the fans.Made up of Sebastian, Jimmy Flemion, Mark"Bam Bam" McConnel, Ritchie Scarlet and the bassist known only as Larry. 2001 was the last known album Sebastian did. It was a compilation of cover songs, some of the songs included were...Crazy train, believer, shock me , working man, little lover, tonights the night. And a great deal more. 2002 Nothing as of yet from the Baz and we are all eagerly awaiting his next album,,, COME ON BAZ WE"RE WAITING!!! 2002 Sebastian begins a career as a television personality, as the host of VH1's new rock show called Forever Wild. A wild ride of everything that is Rock & Roll, rock stars with big hair, excessive partying ,glass shattering screams and girls! girls! girls! Bach sets the stage with weekly interviews with some of Rocks most memorable bands.
