| Darren stated today that even if Nasser had wanted him to carry on playing in New Zealand for the up coming 3 test series,the decision was not up to him but the selectors. They had to stick by their decision once they had made it. Therefore unfortuantely it looks like there is a very rare chance that Darren will be stopping in the Kiwis, especially as his flight for home is scheduled for 27th. He also claimed that if he did stay on it would be unfair on Alec Stewart who also decided to skip this winters International Schedule, if they recalled him then they would have to recall stewie, which is quite true. So it looks like we will have to watch Caddy for the next month. Darren, due to missing the tests will take part in Yorkshires pre season training much to the interest of Yorkshires Members! (mainly the ones with walking sticks) |
