After his departure from the England team for the tour to India in the first part of the summer, darren makes a return to the international scence. He will make appearences in the One Day International series starting on the 19th January in India and then go on to play in the One Day Series in New Zealand. Unfortunately after talking with the mangement team in August Darren will have to return home for he will not be permitted to take any part in the test series.
Hopefully this break will have given him a well earned rest and he will return rejuvinated and ready to face the Indians. During his 'break' he decided to stay away from all cricket, ang the media. His only appearence where a camera wasnt far away was when he took his son Liam to the Harry Potter premier in London last year in November. Lets hope we will see more of him now then that. |
