| Robbie and Ryan Rockwell were born on January 31 of 2002 three months prior to their due date of April 28,2002. Robbie was born at 6:04am and Ryan at 6:06am by an mergency C-section. Robbie was 1lb 9 ounces and Ryan was 2lbs 6 ounces. They were born in Philadelphia Pa which is 4 hours from home. Ryan was off the ventilator within 3 weeks and came home on April 9th. He is doing great and is almost 8lbs as of May 7th. Robbie on the other hand has really struggled. He was on the ventalator for 10 weeks and has had laser eye surgery on both eyes. He will have no perphial vision and maybe have blind spots in his right eye. He also needs to have hernia surgery before he comes home. He will be coming home on oxygen for an undetermined amount of time. This little boy is the strongest person we have ever met. He has such a will to live we all just can't wait until we get him home. |
