<Lee stops the truck and rushes over as Ikeman sets down Ingle, explains his little encounter, and the fact that he has a severely wounded man in the back of the truck. As Lee and Ikeman quickly decide what to do next, Ingle breaks in, "not to be rude, but would you have something to eat? I'm rather hungry...getting shot takes a lot out of you."

Stewart says "not to rush you two, but we got hostiles to the north AND south. We need to pop smoke and haul ass asap!">

Lee confers with Ikeman "Sergeant, you and me gotta talk. What exactly do they teach you guys at Fort Benning? I just popped someone claiming to be a Ranger, long story I'll tell you later, I'm not proud of it. Anyways, hop in back, take a look at this guy, maybe you know him. If you know any first aid, do what you can."

Lee then looks over at Stewart "Get on that M-19, keep an eye out for hostiles. We're moving south."

Stewart says "you gotta a wounded man? Let me take a look, I was the medical sergeant on my team."

Lee says "then what the hell are you waiting for????"

Stewart says "Ikeman, on the Mk-19"

Ikeman jumps up in the hatch and yells "WEAPON UP!"

Stewart jumps in the back of the truck and says "holy shit, this is going to be a trick" as he rips open a personal med kit and begins to stabilize the wound. It's rough, but Stewart finally get the wound stabilized after about 5 minutes.

Lee then looks at Ingle "Welcome aboard Sergeant Ingle, help yourself to MRE's. Be quick we're moving out. Do you know first aid? I got a wounded man in back."

Lee then yells at the top of his lungs "OK WHO EVER IS OUT THERE! WE'RE MOVING OUT, IF YOU WANNA RIDE, CEASE FIRE AND COME ON OUT WITH YOUR HANDS OVER YOUR HEADS. NO FUNNY BULLSHIT!" Lee then whispers to Ikeman, "keep your eyes open, I have a feeling they'll come on out."

Then Lee looks to the group "Ok guys, give them a minute, then we head south. We've wasted enough time and bullets shooting at each other. That Soviet mech patrol is looking for us. The more distance between us and them, the better. Any thoughts?"

Ikeman sets Ingle into the back of the vehicle be mindful of his leg, laying the rifle across Ingle, he turns back to Lee, "Sir, lets get the hell out of dodge, they'll be on us in no time, we need to get moving fast."

Lee signals to move out, and the trucks and the humvee roll out. Ikeman keeps an eye out to the rear, and catches movement to the north, waiting for a clean shot, he hears someone yell the running password as they burst into the clear. CPT Wolfe jumps into the humvee and says "You leaving without me????? Tsk Tsk Tsk. By the way, they got a T-55 with them!"

<Whitedog hearing the singing moves forword causiously but with a grin and a
chuckle. He yells out "If you don't mind, I'd be happier if you stoped that caterwaling and give me some info on yourself. As your no singer I'd guess your not with a traveling band." Scanning for the sniper, Whitedog adds "I'm with the US Army, just traveling though the area." Whitedog catches some movement to his right front in the woodline, moving either north or south.>

Whitedog brings his rifle to his shoulder, using the scope to help find the mover as he slowly moves forward. Kartz, seeing Whitedog moving, switches his '60 to safe and continues to scan where he was firing.

From the north Whitedog hears someone yell "OK WHO EVER IS OUT THERE! WE'RE MOVING OUT, IF YOU WANNA RIDE, CEASE FIRE AND COME ON OUT WITH YOUR HANDS OVER YOUR HEADS. NO FUNNY BULLSHIT!"

<Smith looks at the figure intently, praying that it's an american he's dealing with and tries to look him in the eye for answers.

"Sergeant First Class Gary Smith reporting! US Army, Infantry to be exact! No unit attached to at the moment sir!" Gary barks, but trying not to sound too menacing, but rather in a submissive way, as to not incur any wrath that lay hidden.>

LTC Star looks the kid over. and then says follow me smith. I got some MRE's in my pack with my stuff. and trudges back to his ATV. in the tree line. Oh and BTW your now
attached to my special Forces unit! Congratulations.<sounding very sarcastic> Now were are we? are there any other friendlies in the area? And where are the bad guys? That truck you were just checking out. any fuel in it ? my ATV is out and needs a few gallons. Also what's your MOS ? are you just a grunt or you got any special talents I should know
about ?

Smithy can't help but smile at the ease in which the stranger accepted him, and took him into his care. "I never got your name sir. I have no idea where we are, and I myself have been wanderin' around for quite some time after the previous unit decided to bail on me. That was a ways off, and I assumed they had no need for another rifleman, and told me that I could link up with you guys if I could find ya. I haven't seen anything hostile in a while, maybe days, so I couldn't really tell ya. About the truck though, that sucker's on diesel, and I think it'll suit your ATV just fine, dontcha think? I'm a rifleman, your ordinary ground-pounder. As for special talents, I guess you'll be able to figger that out once the lead starts flying." Gary says, grinning. "Now about those MREs..."

I walk over to the ATV and reach into a pack and pull out a MRE. I toss it over to Smithy.
while he is eating I grab my small gas can and siphon hose. I walk over to Smithy and say when you done eating I need you to go siphon the gas out of the truck and I'll pack up my
gear and will make ready to move out. At same time break out the map and look for the closet town and ask Smithy if he has been there and if so are the Natives friendly?

Smithy quickly withdraws a quick bottle of Tabasco and drowns the MRE in it, before consuming the meal, and then properly stowing the excess trash, as to not leave any trails, lest anyone be following the unit. "Sure thing chief, gimme a moment, and I'll have this can filled. I haven't met any other life besides that unit I mentioned a while back, so I don't really know about any villages. I reckon the natives shouldn't be too offended, at least not to the point that they retaliate or sumptin'." Smithy says, while cleaning up his mess and packing up his pack before grabbing the siphon and can and walks over to the truck a little ways back and filling it up. Smithy takes a moment to see if there's any tracks that were near the truck before his departure. Seeing none, he fills up the can and walks back.

When Smithy gets back, he sets down the fuel can, "by the way, what were you running your ATV on?"
