The Ladies of Virtue
It is the intention of the Ladies of Virtue to inspire a spirit of chivalry and romance both on and off the �List Field� by spurring the knightly class to become more conscious of living up to the standard of behavior which embraces the more refined qualities expressed in the term �courtesy�; polished manners, a high moral sense, a knowledge and skill in the social arts of courtly life as well as in combat. They provide a women�s touch to the inner workings of the Royal Order of Chivalry, as well as rule over the domestic areas of their Household. It is also the responsibility of the Ladies of Virtue to instruct new members on the art of courtly behavior and etiquette. The Ladies of Virtue are a model of �courtly living� and hospitality in the Royal Order of Chivalry.
