Describe your style: That's a tough one, I guess it's punk rock, but I like to think that it's progressive punk rock
Who are the members and what do they do?:
Ok Well theres brendon, he plays the drums and does backing vocals, Brett plays the guitar, Tommy plays bass, and I (Ed) try to sing and play the guitar.
How did No Direction form?:
I actually found Brendon on an online punk classifieds thing, he bought Brett along to our first jam and they both pretty much blew me away. I've known Tommy for years, we used to play together in our old band Face the Day
What's behind the name No Direction?:
Ok Well its a Bad Religion song and I love Bad Religion and the way Greg Graffin from BR writes songs. It's just a bit of a tribute to the band. And also the fact that I have absolutely no direction whatsoever, lol.
Whats the worst thing about playing in No Direction?:
No negatives at all, thats when Tommy decides to turn up at rehersals anyways.
And what is the best thing bout playing in No Direction?:
It's all good, there's nothing better than playing live punk music, wether theres 5 or 5000 people watching, its just a whole lotta fun!
Whats the biggest achievement so far?:
Bugger all, getting a really cheap demo done.
Whats No Purpose about and why do you think everyone will like it?:
Ok first of all the song is called THE Purpose :) Anyway its pretty autobiographical, its basicially about the fact that i have all these social and environmental concerns rolling around in my head and I do stuff all about it, well certainly not as much as i could do anyway.
Any why will people like it? Dunno, I like it and i hope someone out there likes it too.
