Artistically born as D.J. Speaker , since the age of 14 he fell in love with the Radio Station world and for many years (1982-1995) his main activity and job was entertaining radio programs for many regional Radio Stations with his innate simpaty, his sharp sense of humor and irony.
He improved his skills by taking courses of diction, phonetics and acting at the Actors Studio School C.T.A. , Centro Teatro Attivo in Milan.
At the same time , in 1990 , Roby Black began to sing and play keyboards for some rock bands , especially valuable is the experience gained from working with the rock band "Sistema" , recording two CD's and also performing with them at some international rock festivals like Emergenza Rock (1995).
During these years(1990-2001) Roby Black has been also well known and active in the live music arena in the night-clubs of Milan with his "exsplosive" live-shows where people can't get enought of dancing . Many times these live-shows have ended with people dancing on the tables of the club!!

During summers(1997-2002), Roby Black never tired of gaining new experiences, has been an active protagoniste, as entertainer - musician - singer and DeeJay , at some of the most important and exclusives Resorts and Touristic Villages in Italy and abroad.
In particular, for the last 3 years he has become the resident Head of Entertainment at Chiappa Club, a Touristic Village in Portovecchio - Corsica , where he entertains the resort guests coming from Italy, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, France with his music which also includes an international hit-singles repertoire (Roby sings in English, Spanish, French and Italian).
But the live-music is not enought, and therefore, after years and years of live-shows and wedding parties, Roby Black has decided to create something new and original.
He goes back to his first love: Acting - a job that he learnt from the famous italian actress and teacher Nicoletta Ramorino.
The idea of mixing live music and acting is the basis of the :
"Roby Black Show".
Here it is, this amusing show ,where you can find live-music and entertainment mixed together.
Music is very varied: pop, italian rock, international evergreens, Dance from 60'ies, standard ballroom dance and sounds from South-America.
Entertainment contains a sort of very funny music-cabaret, where you can find also funny games, group dance and if needed also the karaoke ( with more than 3.000 songs and titles).
The success of the Party is guarateed and hundreds of wedding parties, where Roby Black has worked can confirm that!
With the new fashionable dances came from South America (Cuba and S.Domingo), such as Salsa and Merengue, Roby fell in love with them and decided to add a Latin part on his Entertainment Show, but only after he practiced and learnt to dance them in dance-classes and stages with the Salsa World Champion Sarah Fehr (Miami, U.S.A.,2000).
All this makes Roby Black a 360° artist , versatile, able to play several roles (keyboard player, singer, entertainer, Dee-Jay and dancer) simultaneously - this is exactly what you need to make your next Party successfull!
