Computers: Strong knowledge pre-pentium hardware, fair knowledge post-pentium, disassemble to scratch, assemble from scratch, install operating systems/software, install peripherals and drivers, troubleshoot prior installations of software including OS (not familiar enough with NT � willing to learn), programming in BASIC with 20 years experience, very familiar with �MS OFFICE�, �MS WORKS�, various other common packages and learn most new packages very quickly even when they flout standard conventions.

Hired for despatch, I was also used in returns/complaints, sales and debugging of inhouse software (real rudimentary TRaSh-80 BASIC, just lucky I had more 'p's than the original 'author' did - patience, persistance and probably practice too!). ~ 9 months.

My duties were; Start-up compressor on arrival � drain condensation and shut-down before leaving, ensure water level always adequate in the Urn. Sheetmetal duties included; mark �work� from drawings using scribe or punch mark, de-burr, operate sander(s), grinder(s), drill press, twist-press, brake-press, lathe & Mill � Usually (was) Aluminium gauges #20 - #10 and mild steel up to 12mm thick. ~ 11 months.
1986
Texsign Printers (no longer exists.)
Initially hired at �factory #2� as a textile-screen printers assistant, I was transferred to �main factory� when work for �factory #2� slowed down. Duties included; setup machine(s) for print runs, mix �color�, clean down silk screens and squeegees, basic store-work and used as �place anywhere� assistant. ~ 15 months.

Melbourne Metal (Not sure of name, can�t locate business..)
Hired as a guillotine operator, duties were; fill orders from �inbox�, locate source stock, make a �neat fit� pallet from recycled (not chep) pallets and cut the job. I also assisted various operations as needed. ~ 4 months.

Hired as a PCB assembler (=loader), I loaded printed circuit boards for wave soldering, hand soldered modifications and other hand solder jobs, inspect/touch up wave soldered boards, operate �DIP� insertion machine, also taught component recognition, and desoldering � best practice and various methods. ~13 months.

Fortronic Technology (No longer exists?)
This company made EFTPOS machines, my duties were; PCB loading, solder, inspection, assemble and finish product. ~ 8 months.
1990

Process work, assembly of �hot� parts, cleaning and some setting up.

Operated modified drill-press and various other equipment made or modified to the company�s purposes. ~ 3 months.
1991
Astarte Prints (No longer exists � See Bradmill Textiles 9274 6200)
Hired as a Stentist�s assistant I was �poached� by Geoffrey Wilkinson in �screen printing� and spent most of the last two and half years here as a �flat-bed screenprinter� operator with an assistant on 6 to 6 night shift. I can describe in great detail the duties of a �stentist� and of a �screen printer�. ~ 3� years.
1994
CSA Ausmetal (Can�t find them, may have name wrong.)
Hired as a brake press operator for this �park bench� and �bus stop� manufacturer, I learnt to weld using a mig unit. Duties included; Setup/use brake press with various punch and die (old Z80 based CNC unit.), Sanding, de-spattering, de-burring, guillotining, welding and assist others as required. ~ 5 months
1995
Olympic Video Gaming (Not known as anymore?)
Hired as a process worker, I landed in effective charge of the �door� section, controlling stock and organising the work for myself and up to 4 others. The door section made front doors of gambling machines. Duties were; Assemble/repair doors, report stock usage for section each week, on �main line� some assembly of main cabinets, in �button panel� section, some assembly and soldering. ~ 11 months.
1997
Around this time I started caring for a �sufferer of mental illness�.

All gardening duties including some maintenance of tools. ~ 3 months.
1998
Shifted to South Gippsland with �sufferer of mental illness� and used spare time to volunteer at Coal Creek on the �Tramway�, was also participating in WFTD projects usually at Coal Creek.
Computers Australia (Klaus Helpenstein)
Just four or five days work identifying and cataloguing computer parts for sale by form of auction.
2000
Became a recipient of the Carer�s pension regarding �sufferer of mental illness� (it�s not my business to give away their diagnosis.) and continued for some time to volunteer with Coal Creek.
2001
Budget Bits ()
Casual work assembling, testing and repairing computer hardware, troubleshooting operating systems and installing software/hardware as required. At this time I was desirous to provide the level of care required by �sufferer of mental illness� and Mr. Fitzgerald didn�t think I should � this led to a short stay in his employ ~ 2 months.
2002
I left �sufferer of Mental Illness� and ceased being a recipient of the carer�s pension.
Note but: I have lost all the records I had regarding positions prior to 1998 in the last four years and the information (sorry where lacking) presented above is from my memory and has only been confirmed where possible. I am sure enough of the remainder of details here given.
