| Michael R. Jackson August 27, 1977 - March 13, 1996 2nd cousin Michael was the first person that I lost that was close to me. We only saw each other at big family events and our birthday parties. I feel that even with that we were very close. His death came to a shock to all of us as he was only 18 years old. I was only 16 at the time myself and it hit me very hard. I didn't know what to think. He was only 18 years old. Hes not suppose to go yet. He had a whole life ahead of him. Thats how I felt. He also helped me make one of the biggest decisions of my life. I went to CCSU because of two reasons. One was that they had a football team. The other was that Mike went there. Another thing was that the dorm I stayed in (Carroll Hall) was the same dorm he stayed in. He will be missed. |
