On the weekend of the 4th of July  we stayed at Willville in Meadows of Dan, VA.  We took a scenic route to Pulaski, and rode on a one lane road called State Road 738.  From there we worked our way back down 100 to Radford and then State Road 8 to Floyd.  We ate lunch at the Oddfella's Cantina, and wondered around town for a while.  From there we took 8 down to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and went south.  We made one more stop, at Chateau Morrisette Winery.  We did our first wine tasting there, it was different, but good if you like wine.  We returned to camp and let one more storm roll through before returning to Floyd for the Friday night Jamboree at fireworks at the Floyd Country Store.  We rode in to the rain, chased the rain, dogged the rain, and sleep in the rain, all weekend. Even through all the rain once again a unforgetable good time on the bikes.  This time we got to enjoy the company of our friends Amy and Brain on there BMW GS1200.  A huge thanks goes to them for helping us carry all our extras, and picking up our tab at Boyd's Restraunt on State Road 733 in Ararat, Va, where we had a great home cooked breakfast.
